爾中荏弱嬌嫩之婦、因其嫋娜、以足踐地、猶且不屑、必怒視其懷中之夫、與其子女、暨膝間之嬰孩、及凡所生、緣敵圍邑窘迫、而無所得、則私食之、

爾中猗儺纖弱之女、因其嬌嬈、以足踐地、猶且不屑、迨敵圍爾邑、迫切之甚、婦至缺乏、俱無所得、則私藏所出之胞衣、所生之嬰孩、以供所食、即其所愛之夫、所生之子女、亦被睚眦、毫不分給。

敵以爾困於城中、爾受窘迫之時、爾中最柔軟纖弱之婦、以其纖弱柔軟不屑以足踐地者、因缺乏毫無所有、暗食由其身所出之胞衣、所生之嬰孩、且怒視所愛之夫、所生之子女毫不分給、

The most gentle and sensitive woman among you— so sensitive and gentle that she would not venture to touch the ground with the sole of her foot— will begrudge the husband she loves and her own son or daughter

There may be a gentle and caring woman among you. She wouldn’t even touch the ground with her feet without first putting her sandals on. But she will not share anything with the husband she loves. She won’t share with her own children either.

The most tender and refined woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because she is so delicate and tender, will begrudge to the husband she embraces, to her son and to her daughter,

The most tender and delicate woman among you— so delicate she would not so much as touch the ground with her foot— will be selfish toward the husband she loves and toward her own son or daughter.

The most sensitive and refined woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her refinement and sensitivity, will begrudge the husband she embraces, her son, and her daughter,

The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, will be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,

The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and sensitivity, will refuse to the husband of her bosom, and to her son and her daughter,

The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

The most sensitive and refined woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her refinement and sensitivity, will begrudge the husband she embraces, her son, and her daughter,

Likewise, the most tender and delicate of your women, who would never think of putting even the sole of her foot on the ground because of her daintiness, will turn against her beloved husband, her sons and daughters,

The tender and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye will be evil toward the husband that she loves, toward her son, toward her daughter,

因为被敌人困在城中，饥饿难熬，连你们中间最温柔体贴的男人也要独自吞吃子女的肉，不肯分给自己的兄弟、爱妻和剩下的儿女。

耶和华又说：“锡安的女子狂傲，昂首走路，卖弄媚眼，俏步徐行，脚镯叮当。

豺狼尚且哺养自己的幼儿，我的子民却像荒野的鸵鸟一样残忍无情。婴儿干渴难忍，舌头紧贴上膛；孩童乞求食物，却无人给予。昔日锦衣玉食、生活奢侈的，如今却流落街头，躺卧在粪堆中。虽然无人攻击，所多玛却在顷刻之间倾覆。我子民比所多玛受到的惩罚更重。
