Because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you.

Your enemies will surround you and attack you. They will make you suffer greatly. So you will eat your own children. You will eat the dead bodies of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you.

And you shall eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of your sons and daughters, whom the Lord your God has given you, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemies shall distress you.

“ The siege and terrible distress of the enemy’s attack will be so severe that you will eat the flesh of your own sons and daughters, whom the Lord your God has given you.

“ You will eat your offspring, the flesh of your sons and daughters the LORD your God has given you during the siege and hardship your enemy imposes on you.

Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.

耶和華啊，求你觀看，留意你向誰這樣行。婦人豈可吃自己所生、所撫育的嬰孩嗎？祭司和先知豈可在主的聖所中被殺嗎？

王對婦人說：「你有甚麼事？」她說：「這婦人對我說：『把你的兒子交出來，我們今日可以吃他，明日可以吃我的兒子。』我們就煮了我的兒子吃了。次日我對她說：『要把你的兒子交出來，我們可以吃。』她卻把她的兒子藏起來。」

當我百姓遭毀滅的時候，慈心的婦人親手烹煮自己的兒女為食物。

你們要吃你們兒子的肉，也要吃你們女兒的肉。

仇敵和尋索其命的人追逼他們，使他們落在圍困窘迫之中，我必使他們各人吃自己兒女的肉和朋友的肉。』

在被仇敵圍困、陷入窘迫的城鎮中，她因缺乏一切，就要暗中把從她兩腿中間出來的胞衣和所生下的兒女吃了。

在你中間，父親要吃兒子，兒子要吃父親。我必向你施行審判，將你剩下的人分散四方。

不把所吃兒女的肉分一點給他們任何一個人，因為在被仇敵圍困、陷入窘迫的各城中，他已經一無所剩了。

你身所生的，你地所產的，以及牛犢、羔羊，都必受詛咒。

在那些日子，懷孕的和奶孩子的就苦了。
