Because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you.

Your enemies will surround you and attack you. They will make you suffer greatly. So you will eat your own children. You will eat the dead bodies of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you.

And you shall eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of your sons and daughters, whom the Lord your God has given you, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemies shall distress you.

“ The siege and terrible distress of the enemy’s attack will be so severe that you will eat the flesh of your own sons and daughters, whom the Lord your God has given you.

“ You will eat your offspring, the flesh of your sons and daughters the LORD your God has given you during the siege and hardship your enemy imposes on you.

Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.

永恆主啊，看吧！鑒察吧！看你向誰這樣加罰過！婦人哪能喫自己所生育的，喫自己撫弄的嬰孩呢？祭司和神言人哪可在主的聖所中被殺戮呢？

王問她說：『你怎麼啦？』她回答說：『這婦人對我說：「將你兒子交給我，讓我們今天來喫他；我兒子呢、明天我們再來喫。」我們就把我兒子煮了喫。第二天我對她說：「將你兒子交給我，讓我們來喫他呀」；她卻把自己的兒子藏起來。」

慈心的婦人，親手煮自己生的孩子；當我眾民遭破毁時，親生孩子做了自己的食品。

你們必喫自己兒子們的肉，你們自己女兒們的肉、你們也要喫。

在他們被圍困被窘迫之中、就是當仇敵和尋索他們性命的人窘迫他們之時、我必使他們喫自己兒女的肉，各人喫朋友的肉。」

連從她兩腿間出的胞衣和她所要生的兒女、在你的仇敵把你窘迫在你各城內、而你在被圍困窘迫時、她因樣樣缺乏、也必將胞衣和生兒暗暗地喫掉。

因此在你中間父親必喫兒子，兒子必喫父親；我必向你施行判罰，使你餘剩之民都四散於四方。

甚至在你的仇敵窘迫你、而你在各城內被圍困被窘迫時、他所要喫的兒女的肉、他也不肯分一點給他的親人，因為他一無所剩。

你腹中的果子、你土地上的果實、你幼小的牛和肥嫩的羊、必都受咒詛。

當那些日子，懷孕的和餵奶子的有禍啊！
