Because of the suffering your enemy will inflict on you during the siege, you will eat the fruit of the womb, the flesh of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you.

Your enemies will surround you and attack you. They will make you suffer greatly. So you will eat your own children. You will eat the dead bodies of the sons and daughters the Lord your God has given you.

And you shall eat the fruit of your womb, the flesh of your sons and daughters, whom the Lord your God has given you, in the siege and in the distress with which your enemies shall distress you.

“ The siege and terrible distress of the enemy’s attack will be so severe that you will eat the flesh of your own sons and daughters, whom the Lord your God has given you.

“ You will eat your offspring, the flesh of your sons and daughters the LORD your God has given you during the siege and hardship your enemy imposes on you.

Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.

又曰、爾有何事、婦曰、此婦謂我曰、取爾子、我儕今日食之、明日則食我子、於是烹我子而食之、次日我曰、取爾子、我儕食之、彼匿其子、

慈婦手烹其子女兮、我民女遭滅時、以此為糧兮、

爾將食子女之肉、

我必使之食其子女之肉、受窘之際、即被敵與索其命者圍困、危迫之時、食其友朋之肉、

在爾境內、父將食其子、子將食其父、我必行鞫於爾、遺民散之四方、

甚至彼於敵圍爾邑、窘迫之際、食其子女之肉、不肯分給親屬、無所遺餘故也、

身之所生、土之所產、畜之所出、牛羣之犢、羊羣之羔、並皆受詛、

當此之時、妊婦乳婦其有禍乎、
