耶和华如此说：看哪，仇敌必如鹰展翅快飞，攻击摩押。

以色列家啊，看哪，我必使一国从远方来攻击你，是强盛的国，是古老的国；他们的言语你不知道，所说的话你不明白。这是耶和华说的。他们的箭袋有如敞开的坟墓，他们全都是勇士。他们必吃尽你的庄稼和粮食，是你儿女该吃的；必吃尽你的牛羊，吃尽你的葡萄和无花果；又必用刀剑毁坏你所倚靠的坚固城。

他必竖立大旗，召集远方的国民，把他们从地极叫来。看哪，他们必急速奔来，其中没有疲倦的，绊跌的；没有打盹的，睡觉的；腰带并不放松，鞋带也不拉断。他们的箭锐利，弓也上了弦；马蹄如坚石，车轮像旋风。他们要吼叫，像母狮，咆哮，像少壮狮子；他们要咆哮，抓取猎物，稳稳叼走，无人能救回。那日，他们要向以色列人咆哮，像海浪澎湃；人若望地，看哪，只有黑暗与祸患，光明因密云而变黑暗。

说，主耶和华如此说：有一只大鹰，翅膀大，翎毛长，羽毛丰满，色彩缤纷；它飞到黎巴嫩，啄去香柏树梢，

“你要对那悖逆之家说：你们不知道这些事是什么意思吗？你要这样说，看哪，巴比伦王曾到耶路撒冷，把其中的君王和官长带到巴比伦去，

我的上帝差遣使者封住狮子的口，叫狮子不伤我，因我在上帝面前无辜。王啊，在你面前我也没有做过任何亏损的事。”王因此就甚喜乐，吩咐把但以理从坑里拉上来。于是但以理从坑里被拉上来，身上毫无损伤，因为他信靠他的上帝。

过了六十二个七，那受膏者被剪除，一无所有；必有一王的百姓来毁灭这城和圣所，它的结局必如洪水冲没。必有战争，一直到末了，荒凉的事已经定了。

因为日子将到，你的仇敌要筑起土垒包围你，四面困住你，并要消灭你和你里头的儿女，连一块石头也不留在另一块石头上，因为你不知道你蒙眷顾的时候。”

律法上记着：“主说：我要用外邦人的舌头和外邦人的嘴唇向这百姓说话；虽然如此，他们还是不听从我。”

看哪，他必如云涌上；他的战车如旋风，他的马比鹰更快。我们有祸了！我们败落了！

耶和华如此说：“看哪，有一民族从北方而来；有一大国被激起，从地极来到。他们拿弓和枪，性情残忍，不施怜悯；他们的声音如海浪澎湃。锡安哪，他们都骑马，如上战场的人摆阵攻击你。”

有船只从基提边界来到，要压制亚述，要压制希伯；他也必永远沉沦。”

看哪，我必兴起迦勒底人，就是那残忍暴躁之民，通行遍地，霸占不属自己的住处。他威武可畏，审判与威权都由他而出。

你不是往那说话艰涩、言语难懂的许多民族那里去，他们的话你不懂。然而，我若差你往他们那里去，他们会听从你。

尸首在哪里，鹰也会聚在哪里。”
