耶和華曰、敵之至也、有若鷹飛、展翼於摩押、

耶和華曰、以色列家歟、遠方有國、既強且古、爾曹不識其方言、不明其所語、我必導之攻爾、其箙若既闢之塚、其人皆為勇士、彼必食爾禾稼、及爾餱糧、即爾子女所當食者、並食爾牛羣羊羣、及葡萄無花果、以刃毀爾所恃之堅城、

彼將建纛、以招遠邦、自地極而號召之、則疾趨而至、其中無憊者、無躓者、不寢不寐、腰帶弗解、履帶弗斷、其矢既利、其弓悉張、馬蹄如火石、車輪如旋風、其吼若牝獅、其鳴若稚獅、咆哮攫食、曳之而去、莫之能救、是日也、敵向之咆哮、若海濤澎湃、人望其地、則見幽暗艱苦、其光晦於密雲、

主耶和華云、有一巨鷹、翼大、翎長、毛豐、文彩斑斕、至利巴嫩、取香柏之高枝、

謂悖逆之家云、斯事之旨、爾不知之乎、宜告之曰、巴比倫王至耶路撒冷、虜其君王牧伯、攜至巴比倫、

我之上帝遣其使箝獅口俾不傷我、以我於其前無罪、在王前亦未行不善也、王喜甚、命取但以理出洞、遂取之出、其身毫無所傷、因信賴其上帝也、

七日乘以六十二後、受膏者必見絕、空諸所有、且有一君之民將至、毀城及聖所、其終若為洪水所淹、戰鬥至終、荒蕪已定、

蓋日將至、爾敵必築壘環爾、四週困爾、且擲爾及爾中子女於地、不遺一石於石上、以爾不知眷顧爾之日也、○

律載云、主曰、我以異邦之言、遠人之口諭斯民、亦不我聽、

敵將如雲而上、車若颶風、馬疾於鷹、禍哉我儕、吾其敗矣、

耶和華曰、有一族自北方而來、有大國自地極而興、執弓與戟、彼乃殘忍、不加矜恤、聲若海濤漰渤、錫安女歟、彼皆乘馬列陳、如戰士以攻爾、

有舟至自基提、虐遇亞述、苛待希伯、彼亦淪亡、

我將興起迦勒底人是乃殘酷暴躁之邦、徧行大地、據非己之居所、彼矜嚴可畏、使威行鞫、悉由於己、

非詣方言殊異、其語難明之列國、其言爾所不識、我若遣爾詣之、彼必願聽、

屍所在、鷙鳥集焉、○
