“你用口吹角吧！敌人如鹰来攻打耶和华的家；因为这民违背我的约，干犯我的律法。

仇敌必如大鹰飞起，展开翅膀攻击波斯拉。到那日，以东的勇士心中疼痛如临产的妇人。”

耶和华如此说：“仇敌必如大鹰飞起，展开翅膀，攻击摩押。

耶和华说：“以色列家啊，我必使一国的民从远方来攻击你，是强盛的国，是从古而有的国。他们的言语你不晓得，他们的话你不明白。他们的箭袋是敞开的坟墓；他们都是勇士。他们必吃尽你的庄稼和你的粮食，是你儿女该吃的；必吃尽你的牛羊，吃尽你的葡萄和无花果；又必用刀毁坏你所倚靠的坚固城。”

他必竖立大旗，招远方的国民，发嘶声叫他们从地极而来；看哪，他们必急速奔来。其中没有疲倦的，绊跌的；没有打盹的，睡觉的；腰带并不放松，鞋带也不折断。他们的箭快利，弓也上了弦。马蹄算如坚石，车轮好像旋风。他们要吼叫，像母狮子，咆哮，像少壮狮子；他们要咆哮抓食，坦然叼去，无人救回。那日，他们要向以色列人吼叫，像海浪砰訇；人若望地，只见黑暗艰难，光明在云中变为昏暗。

说主耶和华如此说：有一大鹰，翅膀大，翎毛长，羽毛丰满，彩色俱备，来到黎巴嫩，将香柏树梢拧去，

“你对那悖逆之家说：你们不知道这些事是什么意思吗？你要告诉他们说，巴比伦王曾到耶路撒冷，将其中的君王和首领带到巴比伦自己那里去。

我的神差遣使者，封住狮子的口，叫狮子不伤我；因我在神面前无辜，我在王面前也没有行过亏损的事。”王就甚喜乐，吩咐人将但以理从坑里系上来。于是但以理从坑里被系上来，身上毫无伤损，因为信靠他的神。

过了六十二个七，那受膏者必被剪除，一无所有；必有一王的民来毁灭这城和圣所，至终必如洪水冲没。必有争战，一直到底，荒凉的事已经定了。

因为日子将到，你的仇敌必筑起土垒，周围环绕你，四面困住你，并要扫灭你和你里头的儿女，连一块石头也不留在石头上，因你不知道眷顾你的时候。”

律法上记着：“主说：‘我要用外邦人的舌头和外邦人的嘴唇向这百姓说话；虽然如此，他们还是不听从我。’”

看哪，仇敌必如云上来；他的战车如旋风，他的马匹比鹰更快。我们有祸了！我们败落了！

耶和华如此说：“看哪，有一种民从北方而来，并有一大国被激动，从地极来到。他们拿弓和枪，性情残忍，不施怜悯；他们的声音像海浪砰訇。锡安城啊，他们骑马都摆队伍，如上战场的人要攻击你。”

必有人乘船从基提界而来，苦害亚述，苦害希伯；他也必至沉沦。”

我必兴起迦勒底人，就是那残忍暴躁之民，通行遍地，占据那不属自己的住处。他威武可畏，判断和势力都任意发出。

不是往那说话深奥、言语难懂的多国去，他们的话语是你不懂得的。我若差你往他们那里去，他们必听从你。

尸首在哪里，鹰也必聚在那里。”
