therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.

So he will send enemies against you. You will have to serve them. You will be hungry and thirsty. You will be naked and poor. The Lord will put the iron chains of slavery around your necks until he has destroyed you.

therefore you shall serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger and thirst, in nakedness, and lacking everything. And he will put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you.

「你去告訴哈拿尼雅說，耶和華如此說：你折斷木軛，卻換了鐵軛！因為萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：我已將鐵軛加在這些國的頸項上，使他們服事巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，他們總要服事他；我也把田野的走獸給了他。」

「你對那悖逆之家說：你們不知道這些事是甚麼意思嗎？你要告訴他們說，巴比倫王曾到耶路撒冷，將其中的君王和首領帶到巴比倫自己那裏去。

我向他們留意降禍不降福；在埃及地的一切猶大人必因刀劍、饑荒所滅，直到滅盡。

「又有一大鷹，翅膀大，羽毛多。這葡萄樹從栽種的畦中向這鷹彎過根來，發出枝子，好得它的澆灌。

耶和華因你們所作的惡、所行可憎的事，不能再容忍，所以你們的地荒涼，令人驚駭咒詛，無人居住，正如今日一樣。

我向我的百姓發怒，使我的產業被褻瀆，將他們交在你手中，你毫不憐憫他們，把極重的軛加在老年人身上。

然而他們必作示撒的僕人，好叫他們知道，服事我與服事外邦人有何分別。」

說主耶和華如此說：有一大鷹，翅膀大，翎毛長，羽毛豐滿，彩色俱備，來到黎巴嫩，將香柏樹梢擰去，

他又對我說：「人子啊，我必在耶路撒冷折斷他們的杖，就是斷絕他們的糧。他們吃餅要按分兩，憂慮而吃；喝水也要按制子，驚惶而喝；使他們缺糧缺水，彼此驚惶，因自己的罪孽消滅。」

百姓若說：『耶和華－我們的神為甚麼向我們行這一切事呢？』你就對他們說：『你們怎樣離棄耶和華，在你們的地上事奉外邦神，也必照樣在不屬你們的地上事奉外邦人。』」

我心裏柔和謙卑，你們當負我的軛，學我的樣式；這樣，你們心裏就必得享安息。

我們定要成就我們口中所出的一切話，向天后燒香、澆奠祭，按着我們與我們列祖、君王、首領在猶大的城邑中和耶路撒冷的街市上素常所行的一樣；因為那時我們吃飽飯、享福樂，並不見災禍。自從我們停止向天后燒香、澆奠祭，我們倒缺乏一切，又因刀劍饑荒滅絕。」

我就照這一切的話對猶大王西底家說：「要把你們的頸項放在巴比倫王的軛下，服事他和他的百姓，便得存活。你和你的百姓為何要因刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫死亡，正如耶和華論到不服事巴比倫王的那國說的話呢？

並且你因自己的罪必失去我所賜給你的產業。我也必使你在你所不認識的地上服事你的仇敵；因為你使我怒中起火，直燒到永遠。

他們在本國裏沾你大恩的時候，在你所賜給他們這廣大肥美之地上不事奉你，也不轉離他們的惡行。我們現今作了奴僕；至於你所賜給我們列祖享受其上的土產，並美物之地，看哪，我們在這地上作了奴僕！這地許多出產歸了列王，就是你因我們的罪所派轄制我們的。他們任意轄制我們的身體和牲畜，我們遭了大難。」

我們的產業歸與外邦人；我們的房屋歸與外路人。我們是無父的孤兒；我們的母親好像寡婦。我們出錢才得水喝；我們的柴是人賣給我們的。追趕我們的，到了我們的頸項上；我們疲乏不得歇息。我們投降埃及人和亞述人，為要得糧吃飽。
