therefore in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and dire poverty, you will serve the enemies the Lord sends against you. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.

So he will send enemies against you. You will have to serve them. You will be hungry and thirsty. You will be naked and poor. The Lord will put the iron chains of slavery around your necks until he has destroyed you.

therefore you shall serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger and thirst, in nakedness, and lacking everything. And he will put a yoke of iron on your neck until he has destroyed you.

“你去告诉哈拿尼雅说：‘耶和华这样说：你折断了木轭，却要换来铁轭。因为万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：我要把铁轭套在这些国家的颈项上，使他们服事巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；他们要服事他，连田野的走兽，我也交给他了。’”

“你要对那叛逆的民族说：‘你们不知道这些事是什么意思吗？’你要告诉他们：‘看哪！巴比伦王曾到耶路撒冷来，把其中的王和众领袖掳去，带他们到巴比伦那里去。

看哪！我要留意向他们降祸不降福；在埃及地所有的犹大人都必因刀剑和饥荒灭亡，直到灭绝。

“‘另有一只大鹰，翅膀大，羽毛多；这葡萄树从它栽种的苗床上，把树根向这鹰弯过去，又向这鹰长出枝子，好得它的浇灌。

耶和华再不能容忍你们邪恶的行为，和你们所行可憎的事；故此，你们的土地荒凉，成了令人惊骇、被人咒诅的对象，没有人居住，好像今天一样。

我曾对我的子民发怒，使我的产业被亵渎，我把他们交在你的手里，你却对他们毫无怜悯。你竟把你的轭，重重压在老年人的身上。

虽然这样，他们仍必作示撒的仆人，好使他们知道，服事我和服事世上的列国有什么分别。”

说：‘主耶和华这样说：有一只大鹰，翅膀大，翎毛长，羽毛丰富，彩色缤纷，来到黎巴嫩，把香柏树的树梢取去；

他又对我说：“人子啊，我要断绝耶路撒冷的粮食。他们要满心忧虑，吃配给的口粮；十分惊惶，喝配给的水。他们缺粮缺水，各人都必惊惶，因自己的罪孽衰弱而死。”

“将来如果有人问：‘耶和华我们的神，为什么向我们行这一切事呢？’你就要对他们说：‘你们怎样离弃我，在你们的土地上事奉外族人的神，你们也要在不属你们的土地上照样服事外族人。’”

我心里柔和谦卑，你们应当负我的轭，向我学习，你们就必得着心灵的安息；

我们口中说过的一切话，我们一定去作，我们要向天后烧香，浇奠祭，好像我们自己和我们的列祖，以及我们的君王和领袖，在犹大的各城和耶路撒冷的街上所行的一样。那时我们吃得饱，得享福乐，不见灾祸。但是，自从我们停止向天后烧香和浇奠祭以后，我们就样样都缺乏，又因刀剑和饥荒灭亡。”

我照着这一切话对犹大王西底家说：“你们要把颈项放在巴比伦王的轭下，服事他和他的人民，就可以生存。你和你的人民为什么要因刀剑、饥荒和瘟疫而死，正如耶和华论到不肯服事巴比伦王的国家所说的一样呢？

因你自己的缘故，我赐给你的产业，你必失掉；我必使你在你不认识的地方，服事你的仇敌；因为你们惹起我的怒火，我的怒火必燃烧到永远。”

他们在本国中，享受你赐给他们的大福，在你摆在他们面前这广大肥沃的地上，却不事奉你，不转离他们的恶行。我们今天竟成了奴仆！就是在你赐给我们列祖享用其上果实和美物之地，我们竟在这地上作了奴仆！这地丰富的出产都归给列王，就是你因我们的罪派来管辖我们的；他们也随意管辖我们的身体和我们的牲畜；我们遭遇大患难。

我们的产业转归外人，我们的房屋归给异族。我们成为孤儿，没有父亲，我们的母亲好像寡妇一样。我们所喝的水要用银子买，我们的柴也付代价而得。我们被人追赶，颈项带上重轭；我们疲乏，得不着歇息。我们臣服埃及和亚述，为要得着粮食充饥。
