If you do not serve the Lord your God with joy and enthusiasm for the abundant benefits you have received,

“因为你富有的时候，不欢心乐意地侍奉耶和华你的神，

因为你富裕的时候，不以欢喜快乐的心事奉耶和华—你的上帝，

因为你富裕的时候，不以欢喜快乐的心事奉耶和华—你的神，

如果你们在富足时不心甘情愿地事奉你们的上帝耶和华，

因为你在这样富足的时候，没有以欢乐和高兴的心来事奉耶和华你的神，

「因為你富有的時候，不歡心樂意地事奉耶和華－你的神，

因為你富裕的時候，不以歡喜快樂的心事奉耶和華－你的上帝，

因為你富裕的時候，不以歡喜快樂的心事奉耶和華－你的神，

如果你們在富足時不心甘情願地事奉你們的上帝耶和華，

因為你在這樣富足的時候，沒有以歡樂和高興的心來事奉耶和華你的神，

『因為你不為了樣樣富足的緣故而以歡樂高興的心事奉永恆主你的上帝，

爾當富有之時、不中心欣喜、奉事爾上帝耶和華、

爾當全盛之時、不中心欣喜、奉事爾之上帝耶和華。

緣爾當富有之時、不歡心樂意奉事主爾之天主、

Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity,

You didn’t serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness when times were good.

Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joyfulness and gladness of heart, because of the abundance of all things,

Because you didn’t serve the LORD your God with joy and a cheerful heart, even though you had an abundance of everything,

“ Since you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a cheerful heart, in gratitude for the abundance of all things,

“ Because you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and gladness of heart, for the abundance of everything,

Because thou servedst not Jehovah thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, by reason of the abundance of all things;

Because you didn’t serve the Lord your God with joy and a cheerful heart, even though you had an abundance of everything,

Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all[ things];

“ Because you have not served the LORD your God joyfully and wholeheartedly with the abundance of everything you have,

Because you didn’t serve Yahweh your God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart, by reason of the abundance of all things;

This is a time to celebrate before the Lord your God at the designated place of worship he will choose for his name to be honored. Celebrate with your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, the Levites from your towns, and the foreigners, orphans, and widows who live among you.

There you and your families will feast in the presence of the Lord your God, and you will rejoice in all you have accomplished because the Lord your God has blessed you.“ Your pattern of worship will change. Today all of you are doing as you please,because you have not yet arrived at the place of rest, the land the Lord your God is giving you as your special possession.But you will soon cross the Jordan River and live in the land the Lord your God is giving you. When he gives you rest from all your enemies and you’re living safely in the land,you must bring everything I command you— your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, your sacred offerings, and your offerings to fulfill a vow— to the designated place of worship, the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored.“ You must celebrate there in the presence of the Lord your God with your sons and daughters and all your servants. And remember to include the Levites who live in your towns, for they will receive no allotment of land among you.

Even while they had their own kingdom, they did not serve you, though you showered your goodness on them. You gave them a large, fertile land, but they refused to turn from their wickedness.“ So now today we are slaves in the land of plenty that you gave our ancestors for their enjoyment! We are slaves here in this good land.The lush produce of this land piles up in the hands of the kings whom you have set over us because of our sins. They have power over us and our livestock. We serve them at their pleasure, and we are in great misery.”

He let them ride over the highlands and feast on the crops of the fields. He nourished them with honey from the rock and olive oil from the stony ground.He fed them yogurt from the herd and milk from the flock, together with the fat of lambs. He gave them choice rams from Bashan, and goats, together with the choicest wheat. You drank the finest wine, made from the juice of grapes.“ But Israel soon became fat and unruly; the people grew heavy, plump, and stuffed! Then they abandoned the God who had made them; they made light of the Rock of their salvation.

Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment.Tell them to use their money to do good. They should be rich in good works and generous to those in need, always being ready to share with others.By doing this they will be storing up their treasure as a good foundation for the future so that they may experience true life.
