那日是黑暗幽冥的日子，是密雲漆黑的日子。有一隊眾多強盛的民來到，好像晨光滿布群山；這樣的事從前沒有發生過，以後直到萬代，也不會發生。在他們前面有吞滅的火，在他們後面有燃燒的火燄；他們未到以前，大地像伊甸園，他們過去以後，大地成了荒涼的曠野，沒有一樣能逃避他們的。他們的形狀像馬的形狀，戰馬怎樣奔跑，他們也怎樣奔跑。

因為你忘記了那拯救你的神，又不記念那作你避難所的磐石，所以你雖然栽下佳美的樹秧子，種下異種的幼苗，又在你栽種的日子裡，細心地在周圍圈上籬笆，到早晨，又使你所栽種的開花，但在愁苦與極度傷痛的日子裡，所收割的就只有一小堆。

次日黎明的時候，神安排一條蟲子，蛀蝕這棵蓖麻，蓖麻就枯槁了。
