三十亩葡萄园只产二十升酒，二百公斤种子只产二十公斤粮食。”

那将是乌云密布、天昏地暗的日子。来了一支空前绝后、强盛无比的蝗虫大军，它们像曙光一样布满山头。它们的前队如火燎原，后队如熊熊烈焰。它们未到以前，大地美得像伊甸园；它们过去之后，大地变成一片荒场。地上的一切都逃不过这一场浩劫。它们的形状像马，快速奔驰如战马，

以色列人啊，你们忘记了拯救你们的上帝，不记得那保护你们的磐石。所以，你们虽然栽种佳美的秧子，插上远方运来的树苗，使它们在栽种的当天早上就生长开花，也必一无所获。你们得到的只是艰难和无尽的痛苦。

第二天黎明的时候，上帝却安排了一条虫来咬这棵蓖麻，蓖麻就枯萎了。
