The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

耶和華必用癲狂、眼瞎、心亂打擊你；

永恆主必用癲狂眼瞎心神恐慌擊打你；

又必使爾顚狂、目瞽心驚、

耶和華必使爾心狂、目瞽、中懷駭異。

主必使爾癲狂、目瞽心亂、

The Lord will afflict you with madness, blindness and confusion of mind.

The Lord will make you lose your mind. He will make you blind. You won’t know what’s going on.

The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of mind,

The Lord will strike you with madness, blindness, and panic.

The LORD will afflict you with madness, blindness, and mental confusion,

The Lord will strike you with insanity, blindness, and with confusion of mind;

The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart.

Jehovah will smite thee with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart;

The Lord will afflict you with madness, blindness, and mental confusion,

The LORD will also subject you to madness, blindness, and confusion of mind.

Yahweh will strike you with madness, with blindness, and with astonishment of heart.

[ Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Thou hast shewed thy people hard things: thou hast made us to drink the wine of astonishment.

Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness,[ and] rivers in the desert.

And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD,[ that] the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

Surely the princes of Zoan[ are] fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I[ am] the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?Where[ are] they? where[ are] thy wise[ men]? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt,[ even they that are] the stay of the tribes thereof.The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken[ man] staggereth in his vomit.Neither shall there be[ any] work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
