『永恆主必使你在仇敵面前被擊敗；你從一條路出去攻打他們，必由七條路、從他們面前逃跑；你竟要成為地上萬國所引為令人不寒而慄的例子。

“耶和华必使你败在仇敌面前，你从一条路去攻击他们，必从七条路逃跑。你必在天下万国中抛来抛去。

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾攻之也由一途、爾逃之也由七途、拋棄於天下萬國之中、

耶和華必使爾為敵所敗、爾合一處而去、必分七途而遁、播棄於天下億兆之中。

主必使爾為敵所敗、爾由一途出以攻敵、必由七途逃於其前、必受天下萬國之凌辱、

The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You will come at them from one direction but flee from them in seven, and you will become a thing of horror to all the kingdoms on earth.

The Lord will help your enemies win the battle over you. You will come at them from one direction. But you will run away from them in every direction. All the kingdoms on earth will be completely shocked when they see you.

“ The Lord will cause you to be defeated before your enemies. You shall go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them. And you shall be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

“ The Lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies. You will attack your enemies from one direction, but you will scatter from them in seven! You will be an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth.

因為主永恆主這麼說：『讓一幫人上來攻擊她們吧！使她們成為令人不寒而慄、令人擄掠的對象吧！

一人叱喝，千人就發顫，五人叱喝，你們就逃跑，以致你們剩下的就像山頂上的旗杆，岡陵上的旌旗。

我必使他們成了地上各邦國所不寒而慄的對象，在我放逐他們到的各地方成了令人羞辱、令人談笑、令人譏刺、咒罵的對象。

『永恆主必使你的仇敵、那起來攻打你的、在你面前被擊敗；他們從一條路出來攻打你，必由七條路從你面前逃跑。

若不是他們的磐石把他們交付出來，若不是永恆主把他們送交給我們，我們一人怎能追趕他們千人呢？我們兩個人怎能使他們萬人逃跑呢？

我要向你們板着臉，你們就會在仇敵面前被擊敗；恨惡你們的必管轄你們；沒有人追趕，你們也逃跑。

他們若問你說：「我們要出去到哪裏呢？」你便對他們說：「永恆主這麼說：『那該遭疫癘的，就遭疫癘；該被刀殺的、就被刀殺；該受饑荒的，就受饑荒；該被擄的，就被擄。』」』永恆主發神諭說：『我派了四種類來罰他們：刀劍來殺戮，狗來拖拉，空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸來吞喫來毁滅。我必使他們成了地上萬國所不寒而慄的對象，都因猶大王希西家的兒子瑪拿西的緣故，因為他在耶路撒冷行了惡事。『誰要憐惜你呢，耶路撒冷啊？誰要為你悲傷呢？誰要轉身來給你問安呢？永恆主發神諭說：你擯棄了我，直轉身退後；因此我伸手攻擊你，殺滅你：我憐恤到不耐煩了。我在境內各城門口用簸箕簸了我的人民，使他們喪掉兒女，使他們滅亡，他們仍不轉離他們所行的路。他們的寡婦在我面前比海沙更多；我使滅命者中午來到，攻擊壯丁的母親，使驚愕之激動與驚惶突然臨到她身上。生產七次的婦人衰萎而氣絕；還在白晝、其日就落；她失望狼狽；餘剩的人我必交與刀劍，就當其敵人面前交出；這是永恆主發神諭說的。』

至於你們剩下的人呢、他們在仇敵之地時、我必使怯懦餒弱之氣進他們的心；飄蕩落葉的響聲也會追趕他們；他們必逃跑、像人逃避刀劍；沒有人追趕，他們也跌倒。沒有人追趕、他們也彼此相撞而跌倒，像在刀劍之前；在仇敵面前、你們也站立不住。

我必用刀劍、饑荒、瘟疫來追趕他們，使他們成了地上萬國所不寒而慄的對象，在我放逐他們到的列邦中成了令人咒詛、令人驚駭、嗤笑、羞辱的對象，

故此永恆主這麼說：你們各人沒有聽從我，而給族弟兄、給鄰舍宣告自由，看吧，永恆主發神諭說，我給你們宣告另一種自由，把你們自由的交於刀劍饑荒和瘟疫之下，使你們做地上萬國所不寒而慄的對象。

他們必倒斃在刀刃之下，必被擄到萬國去；耶路撒冷必被外國人踐踏，直到外國人的時期滿限。
