The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him.

The Lord will send curses on you. You won’t know what’s going on. In everything you do, he will be angry with you. You will be destroyed suddenly and completely. This will happen because you did an evil thing when you deserted the Lord.

“ The Lord will send on you curses, confusion, and frustration in all that you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and perish quickly on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have forsaken me.

我耶和華必涖臨、若烈焰之騰、乘大輅、若颺風之疾、發震怒、加譴責、火燎於前、以焚仇敵。

萬有之主耶和華曰、如爾不聽、不悉心以思維、歸榮我名、我必降爾以災、以爾純嘏、變為咒詛、因爾不思、我已詛爾、

爾之赤子、已喪厥膽、偃卧道旁、若野羊、罹於羅網、蓋爾之上帝、耶和華震怒爾、加以譴責。

我今日指天地以作證、爾於所得約但之西境、不能延命、乃必滅甚速、至於盡亡。

有一人以驅逐、則爾之千軍皆遁、有五人以追襲、則爾之全師俱奔、即有孑遺、如山巔孤竹、如嶺上單旌。

爾必危亡於異邦、並吞於敵國、

如爾背爾上帝耶和華所命之約、服事崇拜他上帝、則耶和華必震怒爾、使爾速亡、於其所賜之腴壤。

信子者永生、不信子者不生、上帝怒恆在其上矣、

毀爾邑垣、使聖所寂寞、不享爾馨香。爾國荒涼。如是之甚、使敵居斯土、無不駭異。我必散爾於異邦、襲爾以白刃、荒寂爾居、掃除爾邑。

行潦汎濫、橫溢四境、斯難頻至、危在旦夕、爾眾盡為所淹、聞風而驚駭不已。

上帝秉厥公兮、作惡之人、日降鞠凶兮、

我欲訓異邦人使得救、彼阻尼之、如是厥罪貫盈、終必罹罰、

惟彼列邦、攻擊耶路撒冷、耶和華必降災、未亡之前、必肉瘦目昏舌敝、當是日、耶和華必使列邦人紛亂、相執相攻、

乃率從者往戰、既至、觀敵自相攻擊以致敗績。

萬有之主耶和華兮、爾震怒之余加、不聽余祈、不識何時可息兮、余澘然飲涕、飲食俱忘兮、鄰里用力以攻予、仇敵出言以哂予、皆爾所使兮。萬有之主、上帝兮、使予復興、色相光華、普照於我、則余獲救兮。自古在昔、爾攜葡萄、出於埃及、驅逐異邦之民、植於斯土、開墾土壤、使彼根深、蔓延於地兮、彼樹之蔭、遍覆山崗、枝柯甚大、如柏香木兮、其枝至於滄海、其幹近於大河兮、今曷毀其藩籬、任為路人折取兮、林豕食之、野獸囓之兮、萬有之主上帝兮、回爾心志、自天鑒察、封植此樹兮、爾昔栽培、使其葱蘢兮、今爾震怒、使彼葡萄、為火焚燬、為人斬伐、根株槁兮。
