The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him.

The Lord will send curses on you. You won’t know what’s going on. In everything you do, he will be angry with you. You will be destroyed suddenly and completely. This will happen because you did an evil thing when you deserted the Lord.

一個人的威脅，會使千人逃跑；五個人的威脅，會使你們逃跑得所剩無幾，如山頂上的旗杆，又如岡陵上的旗幟。

信從子的人，就有永恆的生命；但是不肯信從子的人，見不到生命，而且神的震怒也停留在他身上。

每當它經過時，它必擄掠你們；每天早晨，它必經過，白天與夜間都會如此。只有恐怖的事才能使你們明白這信息。」

神是公義的審判者，是天天對惡人惱怒的神。

阻止我們向外邦人傳道使外邦人得救。這樣，他們常常積滿自己的罪孽，而神的震怒在最後臨到了他們身上！

以下是耶和華要降下的災疫，用來擊打所有與耶路撒冷作戰的民族：他們雙腳還站立著，他們的肉體就會腐爛；他們的眼睛必在眼窩裡腐爛，他們的舌頭必在口中腐爛。到那日，必有大騷亂從耶和華臨到他們，他們彼此抓住對方的手，彼此舉手攻擊對方。

掃羅和隨同他的全體軍兵都集合，來到戰場，看哪，非利士人彼此刀劍相向，有極大的騷亂。

耶和華萬軍之神哪，你因你子民的禱告而發怒，要到什麼時候呢？你以眼淚當作糧食給他們吃，又把大碗的眼淚給他們喝。你使我們成為鄰國紛爭的對象，我們的仇敵也都嘲笑我們。萬軍之神哪，求你使我們回轉；使你的臉發出亮光，我們就得拯救！你從埃及帶出一棵葡萄樹，你驅逐列國，栽種了這樹。你在它面前預備了地土，它就深深扎根，充滿大地。它的影子遮蓋了群山，它的枝條遮蓋了高大的香柏樹。它伸出枝葉直到海洋，它的嫩枝直到大河。你為什麼毀壞它的圍牆，以致所有過路的人都去摘取呢？來自森林的豬把它糟踏，田野的動物把它吃掉。萬軍之神哪，求你回轉！求你從天上垂看鑒察，眷顧這葡萄樹，就是你右手所栽種的幼苗，你為自己所堅固的根苗。這葡萄樹在烈火中被燒了，被砍掉了，因你臉上的怒容就要滅亡。
