The Lord will send on you curses, confusion and rebuke in everything you put your hand to, until you are destroyed and come to sudden ruin because of the evil you have done in forsaking him.

The Lord will send curses on you. You won’t know what’s going on. In everything you do, he will be angry with you. You will be destroyed suddenly and completely. This will happen because you did an evil thing when you deserted the Lord.

我今日就呼天喚地向你們作證，你們必在過約旦河取得為業的地上迅速滅亡；你們必不能在那地長久生存，必全被消滅。

一個敵人就可以威嚇你們一千個人，若五個敵人威嚇你們，你們都要逃跑了！以致你們所剩下的，必孤立如同山頂上的旗杆，岡陵上的旗幟。

你們要在萬國中滅亡；仇敵之地必吞滅你們。

如果你們違背了耶和華你們的神吩咐你們遵守的約，去事奉別的神，敬拜他們，耶和華必向你們大發烈怒，使你們從他賜給你們的美地上迅速滅亡。”

信子的，有永生；不信從子的，必不得見永生，神的震怒卻常在他身上。”

我必使你們的城市變為荒場，使你們的聖所荒涼；我也不聞你們馨香的祭。我要使地荒涼，連住在那裡的仇敵也驚奇。我要把你們分散在萬國中，我又拔出刀來追趕你們；你們的地成為荒涼，你們的城市變成荒場。

每次掃過的時候，都把你們抓去；因為每早晨它必漫過，白天與黑夜也是這樣；人若明白所傳的，必受驚恐。

神是公義的審判者，他是天天向惡人發怒的神。

阻撓我們向外族人傳道，不讓他們得救，以致惡貫滿盈。神的忿怒終必臨到他們身上。

這是耶和華用來擊打那些與耶路撒冷爭戰的萬族的災疫：他們雙腳仍然站地的時候，他們的肌肉必腐爛，他們的眼球必在眼眶裡腐爛，他們的舌頭必在口腔中腐爛。到那日，耶和華必使他們大大慌亂，他們各人互相抓住對方的手，並舉起手來互相攻擊。

掃羅和所有跟隨他的人就聚集起來，到了戰場，就看見非利士人用刀互相擊殺，十分混亂。

耶和華萬軍之神啊！你因你子民的禱告發怒，要到幾時呢？你使他們以眼淚當餅吃，使他們喝滿杯的淚水。你使我們的鄰國因我們紛爭，我們的仇敵也譏笑我們。萬軍的神啊！求你使我們復興；願你的臉光照我們，我們就可以得救。你從埃及帶走一棵葡萄樹，你趕出外族人，把這樹栽上。你為它預備了地土，它就深深扎根，充滿全地。它的蔭影遮蓋了群山，它的枝條遮蓋了高大的香柏樹。它的枝條伸展，直到大海；它的幼苗，直到大河。你為甚麼拆毀它的籬笆，任由所有過路的人採摘呢？從樹林中出來的野豬踐踏它，田野的走獸把它吃了。萬軍的神啊！求你回心轉意，從天上垂看鑒察，眷顧這葡萄樹，眷顧你右手栽種的根，和你為自己培育的兒子。這樹已被火燒，被砍下；他們因你臉上的怒容滅亡。
