“ Cursed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, the newborn of your herd, and the offspring of your flock.

The fruit of your womb will be cursed, and the crops of your land, and the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

Your children will be cursed. Your crops will be cursed. Your calves and lambs will be cursed.

Cursed shall be the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your ground, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock.

Your children and your crops will be cursed. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be cursed.

Your offspring will be cursed, and your land’s produce, the young of your herds, and the newborn of your flocks.

“ Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, the increase of thy cattle, and the young of thy flock.

Your descendants will be cursed, and your land’s produce, the young of your herds, and the newborn of your flocks.

Cursed[ shall be] the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

Your children will be cursed, as well as the produce of your soil, the calves of your herds, and the lambs of your flocks.

The fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock will be cursed.

“ Blessed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, and the offspring of your animals: the newborn of your herd and the young of your flock.

When I break your staff of bread, ten women will bake your bread in one oven, and they will bring back your bread in rationed amounts, so that you will eat and not be satisfied.

I will also break down your pride of power; and I will make your sky like iron and your earth like bronze.Your strength will be consumed uselessly, for your land will not yield its produce and the trees of the land will not yield their fruit.

May his children be fatherless, And his wife a widow.May his children wander about and beg; And may they seek sustenance far from their ruined homes.May the creditor seize everything that he has, And may strangers plunder the product of his labor.May there be none to extend kindness to him, Nor any to be gracious to his fatherless children.May his descendants be eliminated; May their name be wiped out in a following generation.May the guilt of his fathers be remembered before the Lord, And do not let the sin of his mother be wiped out.May they be before the Lord continually, So that He may eliminate their memory from the earth;

For behold, days are coming when they will say,‘ Blessed are those who cannot bear, and the wombs that have not given birth, and the breasts that have not nursed.’Then they will begin to say to the mountains,‘ Fall on us,’ and to the hills,‘ Cover us.’

You shall not worship them nor serve them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, inflicting the punishment of the fathers on the children, even on the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

My eyes fail because of tears, My spirit is greatly troubled; My heart is poured out on the earth Because of the destruction of the daughter of my people, When little ones and infants languish In the streets of the city.They say to their mothers,“ Where is grain and wine?” As they faint like a wounded person In the streets of the city, As their lives are poured out In their mothers’ arms.

Behold, I am going to rebuke your descendants, and I will spread dung on your faces, the dung of your feasts; and you will be taken away with it.

See, Lord, and look! With whom have You dealt this way? Should women really eat their children, The little ones who were born healthy? Should priest and prophet really be killed In the sanctuary of the Lord?

As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird— No birth, no pregnancy, and no conception!Though they bring up their children, Yet I will bereave them of their children until not a person is left. Yes, woe to them indeed when I depart from them!Ephraim, as I have seen, Is planted in a pasture like Tyre; But Ephraim is going to bring out his children for slaughter.Give to them, Lord— what will You give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dried up breasts.

His roots are dried below, And his branch withers above.The memory of him perishes from the earth, And he has no name abroad.He is driven from light into darkness, And chased from the inhabited world.He has no offspring or descendants among his people, Nor any survivor where he resided.

Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls,

“ Cursed will you be in the city, and cursed will you be in the country.
