你或向左或向右，必聽見後邊有聲音說：「這是正路，要行在其間。」

要修平你腳下的路，你一切的道就必穩固。不可偏左偏右，你的腳要離開邪惡。

你們要大大壯膽，謹守遵行寫在摩西律法書上的一切話，不可偏離左右。

約西亞行耶和華眼中看為正的事，行他祖先大衛一切所行的道，不偏左右。

「看，我今日將祝福與詛咒都陳明在你們面前。你們若聽從耶和華－你們上帝的誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你們的，就必蒙福。你們若不聽從耶和華－你們上帝的誡命，偏離我今日所吩咐你們的道，去隨從你們所不認識的別神，就必受詛咒。
