主必使爾為首、不使爾為尾、使爾獨居上、不居下、如爾聽從主爾天主之誡命、即我今日所諭爾者、謹守遵行、不違我今日所諭爾之諸言、不偏於左、不偏於右、不從異邦之神而崇事之、則必蒙此諸福、○

你若听从耶和华你神的诫命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，谨守遵行，不偏左右，也不随从侍奉别神，耶和华就必使你作首不作尾，但居上不居下。”

如爾聽從爾上帝耶和華之誡命、我今日所諭爾者、謹守遵行、不偏左右、離我今日所諭之言、不從他神、而崇事之、則耶和華必以爾為首、不以爾為尾、使爾居上、不居於下、○

耶和華必以爾為端、不以爾為末、使爾獨在於上、不在於下、我今日所傳上帝耶和華之命、爾當聽從、遵行勿失。

The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.

當謹守遵行、此即爾之智慧明哲在列邦眾民前、彼聞此律例、必曰、斯民昌大、智慧明哲俱備、何民若是昌大、或作有何昌大之民有神有神或作天主與之相近、猶主我天主之與我相近乎、我凡祈禱主我天主之時、與我相近而允我所祈、何民若是昌大、或作有何昌大之民有律例法度若是之善義、如我今日所設於爾前之律法乎、惟當自慎、謹守爾心、恐遺忘爾目所見之事、恐爾生存之日、一時此事離於爾心、當以之教爾子孫、

惟爾行事、當與基督福音相稱、則我或來見爾、或在遠方、聞爾之事、可知爾曹一心堅立、同一志為福音之道而戰、戰或作協力

故主在以色列族中、一日之間、絕首與尾、㯶枝與蘆葦、老者顯者即首、傳偽道之先知即尾、

以東必為其所獲、其敵之地西珥、必得以為業、以色列必強盛、秉大權者必出自雅各、翦滅諸邑之遺民、
