你若听从耶和华你神的诫命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，谨守遵行，不偏左右，也不随从侍奉别神，耶和华就必使你作首不作尾，但居上不居下。”

耶和華必以爾為端、不以爾為末、使爾獨在於上、不在於下、我今日所傳上帝耶和華之命、爾當聽從、遵行勿失。

主必使爾為首、不使爾為尾、使爾獨居上、不居下、如爾聽從主爾天主之誡命、即我今日所諭爾者、謹守遵行、不違我今日所諭爾之諸言、不偏於左、不偏於右、不從異邦之神而崇事之、則必蒙此諸福、○

The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.

守之行之、是為爾之智慧通達、在列邦民前、彼聞此典章、必曰、此大國、乃智慧通達之民也、有何大國、得神近之、猶我上帝耶和華於我禱時之近我乎、有何大國、典章律例、如是公平、若我今日所宣於爾者乎、○惟當自慎、謹守乃心、免忘爾目所見、畢生不去於懷、以之示爾子孫、

惟爾處世、須合乎基督之福音、使我或就爾、或離爾、得聞爾事、即爾堅立於一心一志、為福音之道而戰、

故一日之間、耶和華斷以色列之首尾、椶枝與蘆葦、長者尊者、首也、傳妄語之先知、尾也、

以東必為所獲、其敵西珥必為其業、以色列族毅然而行、操權者將出自雅各、殲滅斯邑之遺民、
