Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you.

Write all the words of this law on them. Do it when you have crossed over into the land the Lord your God is giving you. It’s a land that has plenty of milk and honey. The Lord is the God of your people of long ago. He promised you that you would enter the land.

“看哪！日子快到（這是耶和華的宣告），我要與以色列家和猶大家訂立新的約。這新約不像從前我拉他們祖先的手，領他們出埃及地的日子，與他們所立的約；我雖然是他們的丈夫，他們卻違背了我的約。”這是耶和華的宣告。“但那些日子以後，我要與以色列家所立的約是這樣（這是耶和華的宣告）：我要把我的律法放在他們裡面，寫在他們的心裡。我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。

“主說：‘在那些日子以後，我要與他們所立的約是這樣：我要把我的律法放在他們的心思裡面，寫在他們的心上。’”

以色列人在曠野走了四十年，直到全國的人，就是從埃及出來能作戰的男丁，都滅盡了，因為他們不聽耶和華的話；耶和華曾經向他們起誓，必不容許他們看見耶和華向他們列祖起誓要賜給我們的地，就是流奶與蜜的地。

但是現在耶穌得了更尊貴的職分，正好像他是更美的約的中保，這約是憑著更美的應許立的。如果頭一個約沒有缺點，就沒有尋求另一個約的必要了。可是神指責他們，說：“看哪，主說，日子要到了，我要與以色列家和猶大家訂立新約。這新約不像從前我拉他們祖先的手，領他們出埃及的日子與他們所立的約。因為他們沒有遵守我的約，我就不理會他們。這是主說的。主說：‘因為在那些日子以後，我要與以色列家所立的約是這樣：我要把我的律法放在他們的心思裡面，寫在他們的心上。我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。

但我對你們說過，你們要承受他們的土地；我要把這流奶與蜜之地，賜給你們作產業。我是耶和華你們的神，把你們從萬民中分別出來。

你也要把這些話繫在手上作記號，戴在額上作頭帶。

你們就是我們的薦信，寫在我們的心裡，是眾人所認識所誦讀的，顯明你們自己是基督的書信，是藉著我們寫成的，不是用墨，而是用永活神的靈寫的；不是寫在石版上，而是寫在心版上。

我好履行向你們列祖所起的誓，就是把流奶與蜜之地賜給他們，好像今天一樣。’”於是我回答說：“耶和華啊！阿們。”

他們告訴摩西：“我們到了你派我們去的那地，果然是流奶與蜜的地，這就是那地的果子。

耶和華若是喜悅我們，就必把我們領進那地，把那地賜給我們，那地原是流奶與蜜的地。

你把這地賜給他們，就是你向他們列祖起誓，要賜給他們的流奶與蜜之地。
