Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your ancestors, promised you.

Write all the words of this law on them. Do it when you have crossed over into the land the Lord your God is giving you. It’s a land that has plenty of milk and honey. The Lord is the God of your people of long ago. He promised you that you would enter the land.

耶和华说：“看啊，时候将到，我要与以色列家和犹大家另立新约，这约不同于我与他们祖先所立的约，就是我牵着他们祖先的手领他们离开埃及时所立的。虽然我是他们的丈夫，他们却违背了我的约。这是耶和华说的。”耶和华说：“那些日子以后，我将与以色列家立这样的约，我要把我的律法放在他们脑中，写在他们心上。我要做他们的上帝，他们要做我的子民。

“主说，那些日子以后，我将与他们立这样的约，我要把我的律例放在他们心中，写在他们脑中。

以色列人在旷野飘泊了四十年，直到从埃及出来可以作战的男子都死了为止，因为他们不听从耶和华的话。耶和华向他们起誓，不让他们看见那奶蜜之乡，衪曾应许他们祖先要把那个地方赐给他们。

但如今，基督得到了一个更超越的职任，正如祂担任了更美之约的中保，这约是根据更美的应许所立的。因为如果第一个约没有缺点，就不必另立新约了。然而，上帝指责祂的百姓，说：“看啊，时候将到，我要与以色列家和犹大家另立新约，这约不同于我与他们祖先所立的约，就是我牵着他们祖先的手领他们离开埃及时所立的。因为他们不持守我的约，所以我不再理会他们。这是主说的。主又说，那些日子以后，我将与以色列家立这样的约，我要把我的律法放在他们脑中，写在他们心上。我要做他们的上帝，他们要做我的子民。

我曾说你们必占据他们的土地，我要把那片奶蜜之乡赐给你们作产业。我是你们的上帝耶和华，我已经把你们跟万族分开。

要把它们系在手上、戴在额上作记号，

你们自己就是我们的推荐信，写在了我们心坎上，众所周知，人人可读。显然，你们是从基督而来的一封信，是我们工作的成果。这信不是用笔墨写成的，乃是借着永活上帝的灵写成的；不是写在石版上的，而是刻在心版上的。

这样，我就实现我向你们祖先起的誓——赐给他们那奶蜜之乡，正如今日一样。’”我回答说：“耶和华啊，遵命！”

他们对摩西说：“我们照你的指示打探了那地方，果然是奶蜜之乡，这些都是那里的果子。

如果耶和华喜悦我们，祂必把我们带到那片土地，将那奶蜜之乡赐给我们。

你信守对他们祖先的应许，赐给他们这奶蜜之乡。
