“ Cursed is anyone who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person.” Then all the people shall say,“ Amen!”

“ May anyone who accepts money to kill someone who isn’t guilty of doing anything wrong be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”

‘ Cursed is anyone who accepts payment to kill an innocent person.’ And all the people will reply,‘ Amen.’

‘ The one who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person is cursed.’ And all the people will say,‘ Amen!’

‘ Cursed is he who accepts a bribe to attack an innocent person.’ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen.’

‘ Cursed is the one who takes a bribe to slay an innocent person.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’

Cursed be he that taketh a bribe to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

‘ The one who accepts a bribe to kill an innocent person is cursed.’ And all the people will say,‘ Amen!’

Cursed[ be] he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Keep far from a false charge, and do not kill the innocent and righteous, for I will not acquit the wicked.And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of those who are in the right.

For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God, who is not partial and takes no bribe.

You shall not pervert justice. You shall not show partiality, and you shall not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and subverts the cause of the righteous.

who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.

who build Zion with blood and Jerusalem with iniquity.Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the Lord and say,“ Is not the Lord in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us.”

The godly has perished from the earth, and there is no one upright among mankind; they all lie in wait for blood, and each hunts the other with a net.Their hands are on what is evil, to do it well; the prince and the judge ask for a bribe, and the great man utters the evil desire of his soul; thus they weave it together.

and said,“ What will you give me if I deliver him over to you?” And they paid him thirty pieces of silver.

Then when Judas, his betrayer, saw that Jesus was condemned, he changed his mind and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders,saying,“ I have sinned by betraying innocent blood.” They said,“ What is that to us? See to it yourself.”

In you they take bribes to shed blood; you take interest and profit and make gain of your neighbors by extortion; but me you have forgotten, declares the Lord God.“ Behold, I strike my hand at the dishonest gain that you have made, and at the blood that has been in your midst.

If they say,“ Come with us, let us lie in wait for blood; let us ambush the innocent without reason;like Sheol let us swallow them alive, and whole, like those who go down to the pit;we shall find all precious goods, we shall fill our houses with plunder;throw in your lot among us; we will all have one purse”—my son, do not walk in the way with them; hold back your foot from their paths,for their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed blood.For in vain is a net spread in the sight of any bird,but these men lie in wait for their own blood; they set an ambush for their own lives.Such are the ways of everyone who is greedy for unjust gain; it takes away the life of its possessors.Wisdom cries aloud in the street, in the markets she raises her voice;at the head of the noisy streets she cries out; at the entrance of the city gates she speaks:“ How long, O simple ones, will you love being simple? How long will scoffers delight in their scoffing and fools hate knowledge?If you turn at my reproof, behold, I will pour out my spirit to you; I will make my words known to you.Because I have called and you refused to listen, have stretched out my hand and no one has heeded,because you have ignored all my counsel and would have none of my reproof,I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when terror strikes you,when terror strikes you like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you.Then they will call upon me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but will not find me.Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the Lord,

( Now this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness, and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out.
