‘ Cursed is one who treats his father or mother contemptuously.’ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen.’

『「輕慢父親或母親的、必受咒詛」；眾民都要說：「阿們。」

輕視父母者、必受詛、眾民當應曰、阿們、

又曰、藐視父母者、當服咒詛、民必群應曰、固心所願。

不敬父母者、必受咒詛、眾民當應曰、阿們、

“ Cursed is anyone who dishonors their father or mother.” Then all the people shall say,“ Amen!”

“ May anyone who brings shame on their father or mother be under the Lord’ s curse.” Then all the people will say,“ Amen!”

“‘ Cursed be anyone who dishonors his father or his mother.’ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen.’

‘ Cursed is anyone who dishonors father or mother.’ And all the people will reply,‘ Amen.’

‘ The one who dishonors his father or mother is cursed.’ And all the people will say,‘ Amen!’

‘ Cursed is the one who treats his father or his mother with contempt.’“ And all the people shall say,‘ Amen!’

Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and you shall keep My Sabbaths; I am the Lord your God.

“ And one who curses his father or his mother shall certainly be put to death.

“ Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.

“ If any person has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father or his mother, and when they discipline him, he does not listen to them,then his father and mother shall seize him, and bring him out to the elders of his city at the gateway of his hometown.And they shall say to the elders of his city,‘ This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he does not obey us, he is thoughtless and given to drinking.’Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so you shall eliminate the evil from your midst, and all Israel will hear about it and fear.

They have treated father and mother with contempt among you. They have oppressed the stranger in your midst; they have oppressed the orphan and the widow among you.

There is a kind of person who curses his father And does not bless his mother.There is a kind who is pure in his own eyes, Yet is not washed from his filthiness.There is a kind— oh how lofty are his eyes! And his eyelids are raised in arrogance.There is a kind of person whose teeth are like swords And his jaw teeth like knives, To devour the poor from the earth And the needy from among mankind.The leech has two daughters:“ Give” and“ Give.” There are three things that will not be satisfied, Four that will not say,“ Enough”:Sheol, the infertile womb, Earth that is never satisfied with water, And fire that never says,“ Enough.”The eye that mocks a father And scorns a mother, The ravens of the valley will pick it out, And the young eagles will eat it.

For God said,‘ Honor your father and mother,’ and,‘ The one who speaks evil of father or mother is to be put to death.’But you say,‘ Whoever says to his father or mother,“ Whatever I have that would help you has been given to God,”he is not to honor his father or mother.’ And by this you have invalidated the word of God for the sake of your tradition.

‘ If there is anyone who curses his father or his mother, he shall certainly be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother, and has brought his own death upon himself.
