則必舉爾於高、勝於所造四方之億兆、肇錫嘉名、加以尊榮、可為聖民、以事爾上帝耶和華、循其所許。

He has declared that he will set you in praise, fame and honor high above all the nations he has made and that you will be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he promised.

He has announced that he will make you famous. He’ll give you more praise and honor than all the other nations he has made. And he has said that you will be a holy nation. The Lord your God has set you apart for himself. That’s exactly what he promised to do.

And if you do, he will set you high above all the other nations he has made. Then you will receive praise, honor, and renown. You will be a nation that is holy to the Lord your God, just as he promised.”

“因为你是属于耶和华—你上帝神圣的子民；耶和华—你的上帝从地面上的万民中拣选你，作自己宝贵的子民。

“你若留心听从耶和华—你上帝的话，谨守遵行他的一切诫命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，他必使你超乎地上的万国之上。

人称他们为“圣民”，为“耶和华救赎的民”，你也必称为“受眷顾的”，为“不被撇弃的城”。

你们要归我作祭司的国度，为神圣的国民。’这些话你要告诉以色列人。”

不过，你们是被拣选的一族，是君尊的祭司，是神圣的国度，是属上帝的子民，要使你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

哪一大国有神明与他们相近，像耶和华—我们的上帝在我们求告他的时候与我们相近呢？哪一大国有这样公义的律例典章，像我今日在你们面前所颁布的这一切律法呢？

你们作为活石，要被建造成属灵的殿，成为圣洁的祭司，藉着耶稣基督献上蒙上帝悦纳的属灵祭物。

这城在地上万国面前要因我的缘故，以喜乐得名，得颂赞，得荣耀，因为他们听见我所赏赐的一切福乐。他们因我向这城所施的一切福乐平安，就惧怕战兢。”

那时，看哪，我必对付所有苦待你的人，拯救瘸腿的，召集被赶出的；那些在全地受羞辱的，我必使他们得称赞，享名声。

你若谨守耶和华—你上帝的诫命，遵行他的道，他必照他向你所起的誓立你为自己神圣的子民。

我也把环子戴在你鼻上，耳环在你耳上，华冠在你头上。这样，你就有金银的首饰，穿的是细麻衣和精致衣料，以及锦绣衣裳；吃的是细面、蜂蜜和油。你也极其美貌，配登王后之位。你美貌的名声传到列国，因我加给你荣华，使你完美。这是主耶和华说的。

他高举自己百姓的角，使他的圣民以色列人，就是与他相近的百姓得荣耀。哈利路亚！

他们要将你们的弟兄从列国中带回，或骑马，或坐车，或乘蓬车，或骑骡子，或骑独峰驼，到我的圣山耶路撒冷，作为供物献给耶和华。这是耶和华说的。正如以色列人用洁净的器皿盛供物奉到耶和华的殿中，我也必从他们中间立人作祭司，作利未人。这是耶和华说的。

腰带怎样紧贴人的腰，照样，我也曾使以色列全家和犹大全家紧贴着我，归我为子民，使我得名声，得颂赞，得荣耀；他们却不肯听从。这是耶和华说的。”

你若听从耶和华—你上帝的诫命，就是我今日所吩咐你的，谨守遵行，耶和华就必使你作首不作尾，居上不居下，
