The Lord your God commands you this day to follow these decrees and laws; carefully observe them with all your heart and with all your soul.

“你们活在世上的日子，在耶和华—你列祖的上帝所赐你为业的地上，你们要谨守遵行这些律例典章：

“你们若爱我，就会遵守我的命令。

“现在，以色列啊，听我所教导你们的律例典章，要遵行，好使你们存活，得以进入耶和华—你们列祖之上帝所赐给你们的地，承受为业。我吩咐你们的话，你们不可加添，也不可删减，好叫你们遵守耶和华—你们上帝的命令，就是我所吩咐你们的。你们已亲眼看见耶和华因巴力‧毗珥所做的。凡随从巴力‧毗珥的人，耶和华—你的上帝都从你中间除灭了。只有你们这紧紧跟随耶和华—你们上帝的人，今日全都存活。看，我照着耶和华—我的上帝所吩咐我的，将律例和典章教导你们，使你们在所要进去得为业的地上遵行。你们要谨守遵行；这就是你们在万民眼前的智慧和聪明。他们听见这一切律例，必说：‘这大国的人真是有智慧，有聪明！’

你不可听那先知或是那做梦之人的话，因为这是耶和华—你们的上帝考验你们，要知道你们是否尽心尽性爱耶和华—你们的上帝。你们要顺从耶和华—你们的上帝，敬畏他，谨守他的诫命，听从他的话，事奉他，紧紧跟随他。

有了我的命令而又遵守的人，就是爱我的；爱我的人，我父要爱他，我也要爱他，并且要亲自向他显现。”犹大（不是加略人犹大）问耶稣：“主啊，为什么亲自向我们显现，而不向世人显现呢？”耶稣回答他说：“凡爱我的人就会遵守我的道，我父也会爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，与他同住。不爱我的人就不遵守我的道。你们所听见的道不是我的，而是差我来之父的。

“你要爱耶和华—你的上帝，天天遵守他的吩咐、律例、典章、诫命。

凡我所吩咐你们的，都教导他们遵守。看哪，我天天与你们同在，直到世代的终结。”

要谨慎遵守耶和华—你们上帝的诫命，和他所吩咐的法度、律例。

你要记得，这四十年耶和华—你的上帝在旷野一路引导你，是要磨炼你，考验你，为要知道你的心如何，是否愿意遵守他的诫命。

凡我所吩咐你们的事，你们都要谨守遵行，不可加添，也不可删减。”

“这是耶和华—你们的上帝所吩咐要教导你们的诫命、律例、典章，叫你们在所要过去得为业的地上遵行，

“所以，你们要遵守我今日所吩咐的一切诫命，使你们刚强，可以进去得你们所要得的那地，就是你们将过河到那里要得的，

你要尽心、尽性、尽力爱耶和华—你的上帝。

你们在那里必寻求耶和华—你的上帝。你若尽心尽性寻求他，就必寻见。
