When you have entered the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance and have taken possession of it and settled in it,

You will enter the land the Lord your God is giving you as your own. You will take it over. You will make your homes in the land.

“这是耶和华—你们的上帝所吩咐要教导你们的诫命、律例、典章，叫你们在所要过去得为业的地上遵行，好叫你和你的子孙在一生的日子都敬畏耶和华—你的上帝，谨守他的一切律例、诫命，就是我所吩咐你的，使你的日子得以长久。以色列啊，你要听，要谨守遵行，使你可以在那流奶与蜜之地得福，人数极其增多，正如耶和华—你列祖的上帝所应许你的。“以色列啊，你要听！耶和华—我们的上帝是独一的主。你要尽心、尽性、尽力爱耶和华—你的上帝。我今日吩咐你的这些话都要记在心上，也要殷勤教导你的儿女。无论你坐在家里，走在路上，躺下，起来，都要吟诵。要系在手上作记号，戴在额上作经匣；又要写在你房屋的门框上和你的城门上。“耶和华—你的上帝必领你进他向你列祖亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓要给你的地。那里有又大又美的城镇，不是你建造的；

“你中间若有先知或是做梦的人起来，向你显神迹奇事，

你务必杀他；你先下手，然后众百姓才下手，把他处死。

至于你，可以站在我这里，我要将一切诫命、律例、典章传给你。你要教导他们，使他们在我赐他们为业的地上遵行。’

“耶和华—你的上帝领你进入你要得为业之地，从你面前赶出许多国家，就是比你更强大的七个国家：赫人、革迦撒人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人。
