“ Then it shall be, when you enter the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you take possession of it and live in it,

When you have entered the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance and have taken possession of it and settled in it,

You will enter the land the Lord your God is giving you as your own. You will take it over. You will make your homes in the land.

“ When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance and have taken possession of it and live in it,

“ When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you as a special possession and you have conquered it and settled there,

“ When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance, and you take possession of it and live in it,

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When you enter the land where I am bringing you,

“ Now this is the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which the Lord your God has commanded me to teach you, so that you may do them in the land where you are going over to take possession of it,so that you, your son, and your grandson will fear the Lord your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments which I command you, all the days of your life, and that your days may be prolonged.Now Israel, you shall listen and be careful to do them, so that it may go well for you and that you may increase greatly, just as the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you, in a land flowing with milk and honey.“ Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one!And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.These words, which I am commanding you today, shall be on your heart.And you shall repeat them diligently to your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house, when you walk on the road, when you lie down, and when you get up.You shall also tie them as a sign to your hand, and they shall be as frontlets on your forehead.You shall also write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.“ Then it shall come about when the Lord your God brings you into the land that He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you, great and splendid cities which you did not build,

“ If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder,

Instead, you shall most certainly kill him; your hand shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people.

But as for you, stand here by Me, that I may speak to you all the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments which you shall teach them, so that they may follow them in the land which I am giving them to possess.’

“ When the Lord your God brings you into the land where you are entering to take possession of it, and He drives away many nations from before you, the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you,

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When you enter the land where you are going to live, which I am giving you,
