Don’t have two different scales. Don’t have scales that cause things to seem heavier or lighter than they really are.

Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord, But a just weight is His delight.

Saying:“ When will the New Moon be past, That we may sell grain? And the Sabbath, That we may trade wheat? Making the ephah small and the shekel large, Falsifying the scales by deceit,

Honest weights and scales are the LORD’s; All the weights in the bag are His work.

‘ You shall do no injustice in judgment, in measurement of length, weight, or volume.You shall have honest scales, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.‘ Therefore you shall observe all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them: I am the Lord.’”

Shall I count pure those with the wicked scales, And with the bag of deceitful weights?For her rich men are full of violence, Her inhabitants have spoken lies, And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.

“ You shall have honest scales, an honest ephah, and an honest bath.The ephah and the bath shall be of the same measure, so that the bath contains one-tenth of a homer, and the ephah one-tenth of a homer; their measure shall be according to the homer.

Diverse weights and diverse measures, They are both alike, an abomination to the Lord.
