If a man has recently married, he must not be sent to war or have any other duty laid on him. For one year he is to be free to stay at home and bring happiness to the wife he has married.

Suppose a man has just married his wife. Then don’t send him into battle. Don’t give him any other duty either. He’s free to stay home for one year. He needs time to make his new wife happy.

“ When a man is newly married, he shall not go out with the army or be liable for any other public duty. He shall be free at home one year to be happy with his wife whom he has taken.

要使你的泉源蒙福，要喜爱你年轻时的妻子。

在你一生虚空的日子，就是上帝赐你在日光之下虚空的日子，当与你所爱的妻快活度日，因为那是你一生中在日光之下劳碌所得的报偿。

耶稣回答：“那起初造人的，是造男造女，并且说：‘因此，人要离开父母，与妻子结合，二人成为一体。’这经文你们没有念过吗？

弟兄们，我是说：时候不多了。从此以后，那有妻子的，要像没有一样；

至于那已经嫁娶的，我吩咐他们—其实不是我，而是主吩咐的：妻子不可离开丈夫，若是离开了，不可再嫁，不然要跟丈夫复和；丈夫也不可离弃妻子。我对其余的人说—是我，不是主说—倘若某弟兄有不信的妻子，妻子也情愿和他一起生活，他就不可离弃妻子。妻子有不信的丈夫，丈夫也情愿和她一起生活，她就不可离弃丈夫。因为不信的丈夫会因着妻子成了圣洁；不信的妻子也会因着丈夫成了圣洁。不然，你们的儿女就不洁净了，但现在他们是圣洁的。倘若那不信的人要离开，就由他离开吧！无论是弟兄是姊妹，遇着这样的事都不必拘束。上帝召你们原是要你们和睦。

丈夫也应当照样爱妻子，如同爱自己的身体；爱妻子就是爱自己了。从来没有人恨恶自己的身体，总是保养爱惜，正像基督待教会一样，
