When you reap your harvest in your field, and have forgotten a sheaf in the field, you shall not go again to get it. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow, that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are gathering crops in your field, you might leave some grain behind by mistake. Don’t go back to get it. Leave it behind for outsiders and widows. Leave it for children whose fathers have died. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh; he will reward him.

The Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, as well as the foreigner living among you, the fatherless, and the widow who are within your gates shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that Yahweh your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.

There is one who scatters, and increases yet more. There is one who withholds more than is appropriate, but gains poverty.The liberal soul shall be made fat. He who waters shall be watered also himself.

Isn’t it to distribute your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor who are cast out to your house? When you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you not hide yourself from your own flesh?Then your light will break out as the morning, and your healing will appear quickly; then your righteousness shall go before you, and Yahweh’s glory will be your rear guard.Then you will call, and Yahweh will answer. You will cry for help, and he will say,‘ Here I am.’“ If you take away from among you the yoke, finger pointing, and speaking wickedly;and if you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday;and Yahweh will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.

But when you make a feast, ask the poor, the maimed, the lame, or the blind;and you will be blessed, because they don’t have the resources to repay you. For you will be repaid in the resurrection of the righteous.”

You shall say before Yahweh your God,“ I have put away the holy things out of my house, and also have given them to the Levite, to the foreigner, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all your commandment which you have commanded me. I have not transgressed any of your commandments, neither have I forgotten them.

Blessed is he who considers the poor. Yahweh will deliver him in the day of evil.Yahweh will preserve him, and keep him alive. He shall be blessed on the earth, and he will not surrender him to the will of his enemies.Yahweh will sustain him on his sickbed, and restore him from his bed of illness.

But the noble devises noble things; and he will continue in noble things.

When you beat your olive tree, you shall not go over the boughs again. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.When you harvest your vineyard, you shall not glean it after yourselves. It shall be for the foreigner, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.

Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion. for God loves a cheerful giver.And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in everything, may abound to every good work.

So Yahweh blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys.

But whoever has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, then closes his heart of compassion against him, how does God’s love remain in him?My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.And by this we know that we are of the truth, and persuade our hearts before him,

“ Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you.”

You shall surely give, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because it is for this thing Yahweh your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you put your hand to.

“ If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail,or have eaten my morsel alone, and the fatherless has not eaten of it( no, from my youth he grew up with me as with a father, I have guided her from my mother’s womb);if I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or that the needy had no covering;if his heart hasn’t blessed me, if he hasn’t been warmed with my sheep’s fleece;if I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, because I saw my help in the gate,then let my shoulder fall from the shoulder blade, and my arm be broken from the bone.

He who despises his neighbor sins, but he who has pity on the poor is blessed.

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

Also pull out some for her from the bundles, and leave it. Let her glean, and don’t rebuke her.”
