When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are gathering crops in your field, you might leave some grain behind by mistake. Don’t go back to get it. Leave it behind for outsiders and widows. Leave it for children whose fathers have died. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

有施捨的，錢財增添；吝惜過度，反致窮乏。慷慨待人，必然豐裕；滋潤人的，連自己也得滋潤。

豈不是要你把食物分給飢餓的人，將流浪的窮人接到家中，見赤身的給他衣服遮體，而不隱藏自己避開你的骨肉嗎？這樣，必有光如晨光破曉照耀你，你也要快快得到醫治；你的公義在你前面行，耶和華的榮光必作你的後盾。那時你求告，耶和華必應允；你呼求，他必說：「我在這裏。」你若從你中間除掉重軛和指摘人的指頭，並發惡言的事，向飢餓的人施憐憫，使困苦的人得滿足；你在黑暗中就必得着光明，你的幽暗必變如正午。耶和華必時常引導你，在乾旱之地使你心滿意足，又使你骨頭強壯。你必如有水澆灌的園子，又像水流不絕的泉源。

你擺設宴席，倒要請那貧窮的、殘疾的、瘸腿的、失明的，你就有福了！因為他們沒有甚麼可報答你。到義人復活的時候，你要得到報答。」

你又要在耶和華－你上帝面前說：『我已將聖物從家裏拿出來，給了利未人、寄居的、孤兒和寡婦，是遵照你吩咐我的一切命令。你的命令，我沒有違背，也沒有忘記。

眷顧貧寒人的有福了！在患難的日子，耶和華必搭救他。耶和華必保全他，使他存活，他要在地上享福。求你不要把他交給仇敵，遂其所願。他病重在榻，耶和華必扶持他；他在病中，你必使他離開病床。

君子卻圖謀高尚的事，他必因高尚的事站立得穩。

你打了橄欖樹，枝上剩下的不可再打，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦。你摘葡萄園的葡萄，掉落的不可拾取，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦。

他施捨，賙濟貧窮，他的義行存到永遠，他的角必被高舉，大有榮耀。

還有一點：「少種的少收；多種的多收。」各人要隨心所願，不要為難，不要勉強，因為上帝愛樂捐的人。上帝能將各樣的恩惠多多加給你們，使你們凡事常常充足，能多做各樣善事。

這樣，耶和華後來賜福給約伯比先前更多。他有一萬四千隻羊，六千匹駱駝，一千對牛，一千匹母驢。

凡有世上財物的，看見弟兄缺乏，卻關閉了惻隱的心，上帝的愛怎能住在他裏面呢？孩子們哪，我們相愛，不要只在言語或舌頭上，總要以行為和真誠表現出來。從這一點，我們會知道，我們是出於真理的，並且我們在上帝面前可以安心，

你們要給人，就必有給你們的，並且用十足的升斗，連搖帶按，上尖下流地倒在你們懷裏；因為你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必用甚麼量器量給你們。」

你要慷慨解囊，給他的時候不要心疼，因為耶和華－你的上帝必為這事，在你一切的工作上和你手所做的一切賜福給你。

「我若不讓貧寒人遂其所願，或是叫寡婦眼中失望，或獨自吃自己的食物，孤兒沒有吃其中些許；從我年輕時，孤兒就與我一同長大，我好像他的父親，我從出母腹就扶助寡婦；我若見人因無衣死亡，或見貧窮人毫無遮蓋；我若不使他真心為我祝福，不使他因我羊的毛得暖；我若舉手攻擊孤兒，因為在城門口見有幫助我的；情願我的肩膀從肩胛骨脫落，我的膀臂從肱骨折斷。

藐視鄰舍的，這人有罪；施恩給困苦人的，這人有福。

你們倒要愛仇敵，要善待他們，並要借給人不指望償還，你們的賞賜就很多了，你們必作至高者的兒子，因為他恩待那忘恩的和作惡的。

你們還要從捆裏抽一些出來，留給她拾取，不可責備她。」
