When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are gathering crops in your field, you might leave some grain behind by mistake. Don’t go back to get it. Leave it behind for outsiders and widows. Leave it for children whose fathers have died. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

有施舍的，钱财增添；吝惜过度，反致穷乏。慷慨待人，必然丰裕；滋润人的，连自己也得滋润。

岂不是要你把食物分给饥饿的人，将流浪的穷人接到家中，见赤身的给他衣服遮体，而不隐藏自己避开你的骨肉吗？这样，必有光如晨光破晓照耀你，你也要快快得到医治；你的公义在你前面行，耶和华的荣光必作你的后盾。那时你求告，耶和华必应允；你呼求，他必说：“我在这里。”你若从你中间除掉重轭和指摘人的指头，并发恶言的事，向饥饿的人施怜悯，使困苦的人得满足；你在黑暗中就必得着光明，你的幽暗必变如正午。耶和华必时常引导你，在干旱之地使你心满意足，又使你骨头强壮。你必如有水浇灌的园子，又像水流不绝的泉源。

你摆设宴席，倒要请那贫穷的、残疾的、瘸腿的、失明的，你就有福了！因为他们没有什么可报答你。到义人复活的时候，你要得到报答。”

你又要在耶和华—你上帝面前说：‘我已将圣物从家里拿出来，给了利未人、寄居的、孤儿和寡妇，是遵照你吩咐我的一切命令。你的命令，我没有违背，也没有忘记。

眷顾贫寒人的有福了！在患难的日子，耶和华必搭救他。耶和华必保全他，使他存活，他要在地上享福。求你不要把他交给仇敌，遂其所愿。他病重在榻，耶和华必扶持他；他在病中，你必使他离开病床。

君子却图谋高尚的事，他必因高尚的事站立得稳。

你打了橄榄树，枝上剩下的不可再打，要留给寄居的、孤儿和寡妇。你摘葡萄园的葡萄，掉落的不可拾取，要留给寄居的、孤儿和寡妇。

他施舍，周济贫穷，他的义行存到永远，他的角必被高举，大有荣耀。

还有一点：“少种的少收；多种的多收。”各人要随心所愿，不要为难，不要勉强，因为上帝爱乐捐的人。上帝能将各样的恩惠多多加给你们，使你们凡事常常充足，能多做各样善事。

这样，耶和华后来赐福给约伯比先前更多。他有一万四千只羊，六千匹骆驼，一千对牛，一千匹母驴。

凡有世上财物的，看见弟兄缺乏，却关闭了恻隐的心，上帝的爱怎能住在他里面呢？孩子们哪，我们相爱，不要只在言语或舌头上，总要以行为和真诚表现出来。从这一点，我们会知道，我们是出于真理的，并且我们在上帝面前可以安心，

你们要给人，就必有给你们的，并且用十足的升斗，连摇带按，上尖下流地倒在你们怀里；因为你们用什么量器量给人，也必用什么量器量给你们。”

你要慷慨解囊，给他的时候不要心疼，因为耶和华—你的上帝必为这事，在你一切的工作上和你手所做的一切赐福给你。

“我若不让贫寒人遂其所愿，或是叫寡妇眼中失望，或独自吃自己的食物，孤儿没有吃其中些许；从我年轻时，孤儿就与我一同长大，我好像他的父亲，我从出母腹就扶助寡妇；我若见人因无衣死亡，或见贫穷人毫无遮盖；我若不使他真心为我祝福，不使他因我羊的毛得暖；我若举手攻击孤儿，因为在城门口见有帮助我的；情愿我的肩膀从肩胛骨脱落，我的膀臂从肱骨折断。

藐视邻舍的，这人有罪；施恩给困苦人的，这人有福。

你们倒要爱仇敌，要善待他们，并要借给人不指望偿还，你们的赏赐就很多了，你们必作至高者的儿子，因为他恩待那忘恩的和作恶的。

你们还要从捆里抽一些出来，留给她拾取，不可责备她。”
