When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are gathering crops in your field, you might leave some grain behind by mistake. Don’t go back to get it. Leave it behind for outsiders and widows. Leave it for children whose fathers have died. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

有施散的，卻更增添；有吝惜過度的，反致窮乏。好施捨的，必得豐裕；滋潤人的，必得滋潤。

不是要把你的餅分給飢餓的人，將飄流的窮人接到你家中，見赤身的給他衣服遮體，顧恤自己的骨肉而不掩藏嗎？這樣，你的光就必發現如早晨的光；你所得的醫治要速速發明。你的公義必在你前面行；耶和華的榮光必作你的後盾。那時你求告，耶和華必應允；你呼求，他必說：我在這裏。你若從你中間除掉重軛和指摘人的指頭，並發惡言的事，你心若向飢餓的人發憐憫，使困苦的人得滿足，你的光就必在黑暗中發現；你的幽暗必變如正午。耶和華也必時常引導你，在乾旱之地使你心滿意足，骨頭強壯。你必像澆灌的園子，又像水流不絕的泉源。

你擺設筵席，倒要請那貧窮的、殘廢的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，你就有福了！因為他們沒有甚麼可報答你。到義人復活的時候，你要得着報答。」

你又要在耶和華－你神面前說：『我已將聖物從我家裏拿出來，給了利未人和寄居的，與孤兒寡婦，是照你所吩咐我的一切命令。你的命令我都沒有違背，也沒有忘記。

眷顧貧窮的有福了！他遭難的日子，耶和華必搭救他。耶和華必保全他，使他存活；他必在地上享福。求你不要把他交給仇敵，遂其所願。他病重在榻，耶和華必扶持他；他在病中，你必給他鋪牀。

高明人卻謀高明事，在高明事上也必永存。

你打橄欖樹，枝上剩下的，不可再打；要留給寄居的與孤兒寡婦。你摘葡萄園的葡萄，所剩下的，不可再摘；要留給寄居的與孤兒寡婦。

他施捨錢財，賙濟貧窮；他的仁義存到永遠。他的角必被高舉，大有榮耀。

「少種的少收，多種的多收」，這話是真的。各人要隨本心所酌定的，不要作難，不要勉強，因為捐得樂意的人是神所喜愛的。神能將各樣的恩惠多多地加給你們，使你們凡事常常充足，能多行各樣善事。

這樣，耶和華後來賜福給約伯比先前更多。他有一萬四千羊，六千駱駝，一千對牛，一千母驢。

凡有世上財物的，看見弟兄窮乏，卻塞住憐恤的心，愛神的心怎能存在他裏面呢？小子們哪，我們相愛，不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行為和誠實上。從此就知道我們是屬真理的，並且我們的心在神面前可以安穩。

你們要給人，就必有給你們的，並且用十足的升斗，連搖帶按，上尖下流地倒在你們懷裏；因為你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必用甚麼量器量給你們。」

你總要給他，給他的時候心裏不可愁煩；因耶和華－你的神必在你這一切所行的，並你手裏所辦的事上，賜福與你。

我若不容貧寒人得其所願，或叫寡婦眼中失望，或獨自吃我一點食物，孤兒沒有與我同吃；（從幼年時孤兒與我同長，好像父子一樣；我從出母腹就扶助寡婦。）我若見人因無衣死亡，或見窮乏人身無遮蓋；我若不使他因我羊的毛得暖，為我祝福；我若在城門口見有幫助我的，舉手攻擊孤兒；情願我的肩頭從缺盆骨脫落，我的膀臂從羊矢骨折斷。

藐視鄰舍的，這人有罪；憐憫貧窮的，這人有福。

你們倒要愛仇敵，也要善待他們，並要借給人不指望償還，你們的賞賜就必大了，你們也必作至高者的兒子，因為他恩待那忘恩的和作惡的。

並要從捆裏抽出些來，留在地下任她拾取，不可叱嚇她。」
