When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are gathering crops in your field, you might leave some grain behind by mistake. Don’t go back to get it. Leave it behind for outsiders and widows. Leave it for children whose fathers have died. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

人恩待貧弱者，就是借予耶和華；耶和華將照著他所行的償還給他。

有人慷慨好施，反增添更多；有人該給不給，卻導致缺乏。慷慨祝福的，必得豐裕；使人得潤澤的，自己也蒙恩澤。

把你的糧食分給飢餓的人，把流浪的困苦人接到家中，見到赤身的人就給他衣服穿，不迴避有需要的骨肉之親。如果你這樣做，你的光就必噴薄而出，如同黎明的光；你也必速速康復；你的公義必行在你前面，耶和華的榮耀必作你的後盾；那時你呼求，耶和華必回應；你呼救，他必說：『我在這裡。』如果你除去你當中的軛，除去對人的指摘和惡毒的言談；如果你為飢餓的人獻上身心，使困苦的人身心滿足；那麼，你的光就必在黑暗中升起，你的幽暗必明如正午；耶和華必一直引導你，在乾旱之地使你身心滿足，又使你的骨頭強壯；你必像灌溉充足的園子，又像水流不絕的泉源。

相反，你預備宴席的時候，要邀請那些貧窮的、殘疾的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，這樣你就蒙福了，因為他們沒有可回報你的，而在義人復活的時候，你將得到回報。」

眷顧貧弱者的，是蒙福的！在災禍的日子裡，耶和華必搭救他。耶和華要保守他，使他存活；他在這地上被稱為蒙福的人。耶和華啊，求你不要照著他仇敵的心願把他交出去！他在病床上，耶和華會扶持他；耶和華啊，他傷病時，你使他在病榻上痊癒。

高貴人卻籌謀高貴的事，並堅立在高貴的事上。

他施捨、給予貧窮人，他的公義將存留到永遠，他的角將在榮耀中被高舉。

又有這話：播撒吝嗇的人，也收穫吝嗇；播撒祝福的人，也收穫祝福。每個人要照著心裡預先定好的，不要為難，也不要勉強，因為神喜愛那樂意給與的人。神能使一切的恩典豐豐富富地臨到你們，使你們總是在一切事上都能知足，在一切美善的工作上充實滿溢。

但如果有人擁有世界的財產，看見自己的弟兄有需要，卻封閉情感，那麼，屬神的愛怎麼能住在他裡面呢？孩子們哪，讓我們不在語言或口頭上相愛，而在行為和真理中相愛，從這一點我們就會知道我們屬於真理。

你們要給與，就會被賜予，而且用十足的量器，連搖帶按、滿滿當當地倒在你們懷裡，因為，你們用什麼量器來衡量，也會同樣地被衡量。」

藐視自己鄰人的，是有罪的；恩待卑微人的，是蒙福的！

不過你們要愛你們的敵人，要善待人；借出去，不指望任何償還。這樣，你們的報償就大了，而且你們將成為至高者的兒女，因為他以仁慈待那些忘恩負義和邪惡的人。

你們還要從禾捆中有意為她抽出一些麥穗，留給她撿拾，不可斥責她。」
