When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

When you are gathering crops in your field, you might leave some grain behind by mistake. Don’t go back to get it. Leave it behind for outsiders and widows. Leave it for children whose fathers have died. Then the Lord your God will bless you in everything you do.

這樣，利未人（因為他在你們中間無分無業），以及在你城裡的寄居者和孤兒寡婦，就可以來，吃得飽足；好叫耶和華你的神在你手所作的一切事上，賜福給你。”

有人慷慨好施，財富卻更增添；有人吝嗇過度，反招致貧窮。樂善好施的人，必得豐裕；施惠於人的，自己也必蒙施惠。

不是要把你的食物分給飢餓的人，把流浪的窮困人接到你的家裡，見到赤身露體的，給他衣服蔽體，不可逃避自己的骨肉而不顧恤嗎？這樣，你的光就必突然發出，像黎明的曙光，你的傷口就必快快復原；你的公義就必行在你的前面，耶和華的榮耀要作你的後盾。那時，你求告，耶和華必應允；你呼求，他必說：“我在這裡！”你若從你中間除掉欺壓人的軛，除去指責人的指頭和惡毒的言語，你的心若顧念飢餓的人，使困苦的人得到飽足，你的光就必在黑暗中升起來，你的幽暗必變得如正午。耶和華必常常引導你，在乾旱之地使你的心靈飽足，使你的骨頭堅強有力；你必像有水源澆灌的園子，又像水流不絕的泉源。

你擺筵席的時候，總要邀請那貧窮的、殘廢的、瘸腿的、瞎眼的，那你就有福了。因為他們沒有甚麼可以報答你，義人復活的時候，你必定得著報答。”

你就要在耶和華你的神面前說：‘我已經把聖物從家裡除去了，也分給了利未人、寄居的和孤兒寡婦，都照著你吩咐我的一切誡命；你的命令我都沒有違背，也沒有忘記。

關懷窮乏人的有福了；在遭難的日子，耶和華必救他。耶和華要保護他，使他生存；他在地上要稱為有福的；求你不要照著他敵人的心願把他交給他們。他患病在床，耶和華必扶持他；在病榻中你使他恢復健康。

高尚的人卻籌謀高尚的事，他也必堅持這些高尚的事。

你打橄欖樹以後，枝上剩下的不可再打，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦。你收取葡萄園的葡萄以後，剩下的不可再摘，要留給寄居的、孤兒和寡婦。

他廣施錢財，賙濟窮人；他的仁義存到永遠；他的角必被高舉，大有榮耀。

還有，少種的少收，多種的多收。各人要照著心裡所決定的捐輸，不要為難，不必勉強，因為捐得樂意的人，是神所喜愛的。神能把各樣的恩惠多多地加給你們，使你們凡事常常充足，多作各樣的善事。

這樣，耶和華後來賜給約伯的福比先前更多：他有一萬四千隻羊、六千匹駱駝、一千對牛、一千頭母驢。

凡有世上財物的，看見弟兄窮乏，卻硬著心腸不理，他怎能說他心裡有神的愛呢？孩子們，我們愛人，不要只在言語和舌頭上，總要在行動和真誠上表現出來。這樣，我們就知道我們是屬於真理的。即使我們的心責備我們，在神面前我們也可以心安理得，因為他比我們的心大，他知道一切。

要給人，就必有給你們的；並且要用十足的升斗，連按帶搖，上尖下流地倒在你們懷裡；因為你們用甚麼升斗量給人，就必用甚麼升斗量給你們。”

你必須給他，給他的時候，你不要心裡難受，因為為了這事，耶和華你的神必在你一切工作上，和你所辦的一切事上，賜福給你。

我若不給窮人所要的，或使寡婦的眼所期待的落空；我若獨吃我的一點食物，孤兒卻沒有與我同吃；自我幼年時，孤兒與我一同長大，以我為父，從我出母腹以來，我就善待寡婦。我若見人因無衣服死亡，或貧窮人毫無遮蓋；他若不因我的羊毛得溫暖，他的心若不向我道謝；我若在城門見有支持我的，就揮手攻擊孤兒，就願我的肩頭從肩胛脫落，願我的前臂從上臂折斷；

藐視鄰舍的，是為有罪；恩待貧窮人的，是為有福。

你們要愛仇敵，善待他們；借出去，不要指望償還；這樣你們的賞賜就大了，你們也必作至高者的兒子，因為神自己也寬待忘恩的和惡人。

甚至要故意為她從禾捆中抽些出來，留給她去撿，千萬不可責備她。”
