Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin.

王国在他手里巩固的时候，他就把杀他父王的臣仆杀了，却没有处死杀王凶手的儿子，正如摩西律法书上耶和华所吩咐的说：“不可因子杀父，也不可因父杀子，各人要为自己的罪而死。”
