你手若有力量行善，不可推辭、而不向應得的人行它。不可對鄰舍說：『你且去，以後再來，明天我就給你。』其實你那裏是有現成的。

你要謹慎，不可心裏生起卑鄙的念頭、說：「第七年豁免年近了」，你便惡眉惡眼斜視着你窮的族弟兄，甚麼都不給他，以致他因你而呼求永恆主，你就有罪了。

如果真地苦待他們，他們一向我哀叫，我總要聽他們的哀叫；並且要發怒，用刀殺你們，使你們的妻子成為寡婦，你們的兒女成為孤兒。

『人因多受欺壓就哀呼：因受強者膀臂的轄制便呼救：

致使貧寒人的哀叫達到於他；困苦人的哀叫他聽見了。

寡婦的地界你不可挪移；孤兒的田地你不可進；因為那贖回他們的、大有能力；是他要對抗你、來為他們伸訴。

到了傍晚，葡萄園主對他的理事說：「把工人叫來，分給他們工錢，從末後的起，到首先的為止。」

誡命你曉得：「不可殺人；不可行姦淫；不可偷竊；不可作假見證；不可詐取人；要孝敬父親和母親。」』

原來萬軍之永恆主的葡萄園就是以色列家；他所喜悅栽種的樹就是猶大人；他指望的是公平，唉，倒發生了殺人流血！他指望的是公義，唉，倒來了哀叫聲！

主啊，求你使你僕人心裏歡喜；因為我的心仰望你。

永恆主啊，我的心仰望的是你。

『我的田地若哀呼而控告我，其犂溝若一同哭泣；

就是手潔心清，意念不仰仗虛謊，起誓不懷詭詐的：

貧寒人、你不可因他貧寒就搶奪他的東西；你也不可在城門口壓迫困苦人。因為永恆主必為他的案件而伸訴；奪取他的、永恆主也必奪取那人的性命。
