Do not take advantage of a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether that worker is a fellow Israelite or a foreigner residing in one of your towns.

Don’t take advantage of any hired worker who is poor and needy. That applies to your own people. It also applies to outsiders living in one of your towns.

“ You shall not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your brothers or one of the sojourners who are in your land within your towns.

“ Never take advantage of poor and destitute laborers, whether they are fellow Israelites or foreigners living in your towns.

“ Do not oppress a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether one of your Israelite brothers or one of the resident aliens in a town in your land.

“ You shall not exploit a hired worker who is poor and needy, whether he is one of your countrymen or one of your strangers who are in your land in your towns.

“ You shall not oppress a hired servant who is poor and needy, whether one of your brethren or one of the aliens who is in your land within your gates.

Thou shalt not oppress a hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy sojourners that are in thy land within thy gates:

You must not oppress a lowly and poor servant, whether one from among your fellow Israelites or from the resident foreigners who are living in your land and villages.

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们，施行审判。我必速速作见证，警戒那些行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、剥削雇工工钱的、欺压孤儿寡妇的、屈枉寄居者的和不敬畏我的人。”

欺压贫寒人的，是蔑视造他的主；怜悯贫穷人的，是尊敬主。

欺压贫寒人为要利己的，并送礼给有钱人的，都必缺乏。

“你们这些撒玛利亚山上的巴珊母牛啊，当听这话！你们欺负贫寒人，压碎贫穷人，对主人说：‘拿酒来，我们喝吧！’

他们把贫寒人的头践踏在地的尘土上，又阻碍困苦人的道路。父子与同一个女子行淫，以致亵渎我的圣名。

“我的仆婢与我争辩，我若藐视不听他们的冤情，上帝兴起的时候，我怎样行呢？他察问的时候，我怎样回答他呢？造我在母腹中的，不也是造了他吗？在母胎中使我们成形的，岂不是同一位吗？

困苦人赤身无衣，到处流浪，饿着肚子扛抬禾捆，他们在围墙内榨油，踹压酒池，自己却口渴。

“你的弟兄在你那里若渐渐贫穷，手头缺乏，你就要帮补他，使他与你一同生活，像外人和寄居的一样。不可向他取利息，也不可向他索取高利；要敬畏你的上帝，使你的弟兄与你一同生活。你不可为了利息借钱给他，也不可为了高利而借粮。我是耶和华—你们的上帝，曾领你们从埃及地出来，为要把迦南地赐给你们，要作你们的上帝。“你的弟兄在你那里若渐渐贫穷，将自己卖给你，你不可叫他像奴仆服事你。他在你那里要像雇工和寄居的，服事你直到禧年。他和他儿女要离开你，一同出去，归回自己的家，回到他祖宗的地业去。因为他们是我的仆人，是我从埃及地领出来的。他们不可被卖为奴仆。不可苛刻管辖他，只要敬畏你的上帝。

“你弟兄中，若有一个希伯来男人或希伯来女人卖给你，已服事你六年，到了第七年就要让他自由离开你。你让他自由离开的时候，不可让他空手而去，要从你的羊群、禾场、压酒池中取一些，慷慨地送给他；耶和华—你的上帝怎样赐福给你，你也要照样给他。要记得你在埃及地作过奴仆，耶和华—你的上帝救赎了你。为此，我今日将这事吩咐你。他若对你说：‘我不愿意离开你’，因为他爱你和你的家，并且他在你那里很好，你要拿锥子在门上穿透他的耳朵，他就永远成为你的奴仆了。你待婢女也要这样。你让他从你那里自由离开的时候，不要看作困难，因为他已服事你六年，相当于雇工双倍的工钱。这样，耶和华—你的上帝必在你所做的一切事上赐福给你。”

你那里有轻慢父母的，在你当中有欺压寄居者的，你那里也有亏负孤儿寡妇的。

你们这些践踏贫穷人、使这地困苦人衰败的，当听这话！

你们要住在那家，吃喝他们所供给的，因为工人得工钱是应当的；不要从这家搬到那家。
