Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

『你借給你的族弟兄、都不可取利息：無論是銀錢利息、是糧食利息、或是任何東西的利息借出而生利的。

以金與糧、及凡生利之物、貸於同儕、勿取其利、

以金及糧與器、貸與外人可索其利、貸爾同儕、則勿若是、凡所作為、可望爾上帝耶和華錫嘏、於爾所得之地。

爾以銀或糧、凡可生利之物、貸爾同族人、同族人原文作兄弟下同不可取利、

Do not charge a fellow Israelite interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest.

Don’t charge your own people any interest. Don’t charge them when they borrow money, food or anything else.

“ You shall not charge interest on loans to your brother, interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything that is lent for interest.

“ Do not charge interest on the loans you make to a fellow Israelite, whether you loan money, or food, or anything else.

“ Do not charge your brother interest on silver, food, or anything that can earn interest.

“ You are not to charge interest to your countrymen: interest on money, food, or anything that may be loaned on interest.

“ You shall not charge interest to your brother— interest on money or food or anything that is lent out at interest.

Thou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother; interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that is lent upon interest.

“ Do not charge your brother interest on money, food, or anything that can earn interest.

You must not charge interest on a loan to your fellow Israelite, whether on money, food, or anything else that has been loaned with interest.

You shall not lend on interest to your brother: interest of money, interest of food, interest of anything that is lent on interest.

If thou lend money to[ any of] my people[ that is] poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him:[ yea, though he be] a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.

[ He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these[ things] shall never be moved.

And hath not oppressed any,[ but] hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;He[ that] hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase,[ that] hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,

In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.

And there was a great cry of the people and of their wives against their brethren the Jews.For there were that said, We, our sons, and our daughters,[ are] many: therefore we take up corn[ for them], that we may eat, and live.[ Some] also there were that said, We have mortgaged our lands, vineyards, and houses, that we might buy corn, because of the dearth.There were also that said, We have borrowed money for the king’s tribute,[ and that upon] our lands and vineyards.Yet now our flesh[ is] as the flesh of our brethren, our children as their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our daughters to be servants, and[ some] of our daughters are brought unto bondage[ already]: neither[ is it] in our power[ to redeem them]; for other men have our lands and vineyards.And I was very angry when I heard their cry and these words.Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, Ye exact usury, every one of his brother. And I set a great assembly against them.

Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence,[ but] hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,[ That] hath taken off his hand from the poor,[ that] hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.[ As for] his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did[ that] which[ is] not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.

And if ye lend[ to them] of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and[ to] the evil.

Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.
