Do not charge a fellow Israelite interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest.

Don’t charge your own people any interest. Don’t charge them when they borrow money, food or anything else.

“ You shall not charge interest on loans to your brother, interest on money, interest on food, interest on anything that is lent for interest.

“ Do not charge interest on the loans you make to a fellow Israelite, whether you loan money, or food, or anything else.

“ Do not charge your brother interest on silver, food, or anything that can earn interest.

“ You are not to charge interest to your countrymen: interest on money, food, or anything that may be loaned on interest.

“ You shall not charge interest to your brother— interest on money or food or anything that is lent out at interest.

Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

You must not charge interest on a loan to your fellow Israelite, whether on money, food, or anything else that has been loaned with interest.

If thou lend money to any of my people with thee that is poor, thou shalt not be to him as a creditor; neither shall ye lay upon him interest.

And I held a great assembly against them.

neither hath wronged any, hath not taken aught to pledge, neither hath taken by robbery, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;that hath withdrawn his hand from the poor, that hath not received interest nor increase, hath executed mine ordinances, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, robbed his brother, and did that which is not good among his people, behold, he shall die in his iniquity.

And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive again as much.But love your enemies, and do them good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.

hath given forth upon interest, and hath taken increase; shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.
