Let them live among you wherever they like and in whatever town they choose. Do not oppress them.

“不可亏负寄居的，也不可欺压他，因为你们在埃及地也作过寄居的。

求你献谋略，行公平，使你的影子在午间如黑夜，隐藏被赶散的人，不可显露逃民。求你容我这被赶散的人和你同居。至于摩押，求你作他的隐密处，脱离灭命者的面。勒索人的归于无有，毁灭的事止息了，欺压人的从国中除灭了，

你们反倒羞辱贫穷人。那富足人岂不是欺压你们、拉你们到公堂去吗？

于是去投靠那地方的一个人；那人打发他到田里去放猪。他恨不得拿猪所吃的豆荚充饥，也没有人给他。他醒悟过来，就说：‘我父亲有多少的雇工，口粮有余，我倒在这里饿死吗？我要起来，到我父亲那里去，向他说：父亲！我得罪了天，又得罪了你；从今以后，我不配称为你的儿子，把我当作一个雇工吧！’于是起来，往他父亲那里去。相离还远，他父亲看见，就动了慈心，跑去抱着他的颈项，连连与他亲嘴。儿子说：‘父亲！我得罪了天，又得罪了你；从今以后，我不配称为你的儿子。’父亲却吩咐仆人说：‘把那上好的袍子快拿出来给他穿；把戒指戴在他指头上；把鞋穿在他脚上；把那肥牛犊牵来宰了，我们可以吃喝快乐；因为我这个儿子是死而复活，失而又得的。’他们就快乐起来。

不可欺压寡妇、孤儿、寄居的，和贫穷人。谁都不可心里谋害弟兄。’”

不欺压寄居的和孤儿寡妇，在这地方不流无辜人的血，也不随从别神陷害自己，

万军之耶和华说：“我必临近你们，施行审判。我必速速作见证，警戒行邪术的、犯奸淫的、起假誓的、亏负人之工价的、欺压寡妇孤儿的、屈枉寄居的，和不敬畏我的。”

不要毁谤，不要争竞，总要和平，向众人大显温柔。我们从前也是无知、悖逆、受迷惑、服侍各样私欲，和宴乐，常存恶毒嫉妒的心，是可恨的，又是彼此相恨。
