Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The godly things that person did will not be remembered. And I will hold you responsible for their death.

Then you will be able to know what is best. Then you will be pure and without blame for the day that Christ returns.

So I tell you today that I am not guilty if any of you don’t believe.I haven’t let anyone keep me from telling you everything God wants you to do.

Don’t do anything that causes another person to trip and fall. It doesn’t matter if that person is a Jew or a Greek or a member of God’s church.

“ What if someone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin? If they do, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and be drowned at the bottom of the sea.How terrible it will be for the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Suppose I say to a sinful person,‘ You can be sure you will die.’ And you do not warn them. You do not try to get them to change their evil ways in order to save their life. Then that sinful person will die because they have sinned. And I will hold you responsible for their death.
