“女人不可穿戴男人的衣物，男人也不可穿戴女人的衣物，因为这是你们的上帝耶和华所憎恶的。

“妇女不可穿戴男子所穿戴的，男子也不可穿妇女的衣服，因为这样行都是耶和华你神所憎恶的。

A woman must not wear men’s clothing, nor a man wear women’s clothing, for the Lord your God detests anyone who does this.

A woman must not wear men’s clothes. And a man must not wear women’s clothes. The Lord your God hates it when anyone does this.

“ A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

“ A woman must not put on men’s clothing, and a man must not wear women’s clothing. Anyone who does this is detestable in the sight of the Lord your God.

“ A woman is not to wear male clothing, and a man is not to put on a woman’s garment, for everyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD your God.

“ A woman shall not wear a man’s clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman’s clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.

男人在祷告和讲道时，若蒙着头，就是羞辱自己的头。但妇女在祷告和讲道时，若不蒙着头，就是羞辱自己的头，因为她就像剃光了头发一样。因此，如果妇女不愿意把头蒙起来，就该把头发剪掉。如果她觉得剪发或剃头是羞耻的，就应该蒙头。然而，男人不该蒙头，因为男人是上帝的形象和荣耀，而女人是男人的荣耀。因为男人并非出自女人，而女人却是出自男人。并且男人不是为女人而造的，女人却是为男人而造的。因此为了天使的缘故，女人在头上应该有服权柄的记号。不过在主里面，女人不可没有男人，男人不可没有女人。因为女人是从男人而来，男人又是女人生的，但万物都是来自上帝。你们自行斟酌吧，女人向上帝祷告时不蒙头合适吗？按着人的天性，难道你们不知道男人留长发是他的羞辱，女人留长发是她的荣耀吗？因为头发是用来给女人盖头的。

凡做这些事的人都是耶和华所憎恶的。正是因为当地的民族做这些可憎之事，你们的上帝耶和华才要当着你们的面把他们赶走。
