If you see your fellow Israelite’s donkey or ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help the owner get it to its feet.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s donkey or ox that has fallen down on the road. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Help the owner get it up on its feet again.

You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen down by the way and ignore them. You shall help him to lift them up again.

那人要證明自己有理，就對耶穌說：「誰是我的鄰舍呢？」耶穌回答：「有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥去，落在強盜手中。他們剝去他的衣裳，把他打個半死，丟下他走了。偶然有一個祭司從那條路下來，看見他就從另一邊過去了。又有一個利未人來到那裏，看見他，也照樣從另一邊過去了。可是，有一個撒瑪利亞人路過那裏，看見他就動了慈心，上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處，包裹好了，扶他騎上自己的牲口，帶他到旅店裏去，照應他。第二天，他拿出兩個銀幣來，交給店主，說：『請你照應他，額外的費用，我回來時會還你。』你想，這三個人哪一個是落在強盜手中那人的鄰舍呢？」他說：「是憐憫他的。」耶穌對他說：「你去，照樣做吧！」

我們堅強的人應該分擔不堅強的人的軟弱，不求自己的喜悅。

所以，你們要把下垂的手舉起來，發酸的腿挺直；要為自己的腳把道路修直了，使瘸了的腿不再脫臼，反而得到痊癒。

我也甘心樂意為你們的靈魂費財費力。難道我越愛你們，就越少得你們的愛嗎？

弟兄們，我們勸你們，要警戒不守規矩的人，勉勵灰心的人，扶助軟弱的人，對眾人要有耐心。

但是我告訴你們：要愛你們的仇敵，為那迫害你們的禱告。

「若遇見你仇敵的牛或驢迷了路，務必牽回來交給他。若看見恨你的人的驢被壓在重馱之下，不可走開，務要和他一同卸下驢的重馱。
