If you see your fellow Israelite’s donkey or ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help the owner get it to its feet.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s donkey or ox that has fallen down on the road. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Help the owner get it up on its feet again.

You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen down by the way and ignore them. You shall help him to lift them up again.

弟兄們，如果有人陷在一些過犯裡，你們屬靈的人，要用溫柔的心使他回轉過來，自己卻要小心，免得也被引誘。你們各人的重擔要互相擔當，這樣就成全了基督的律法。

那人想證明自己有理，就對耶穌說：“誰是我的鄰舍呢？”耶穌回答：“有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥去，落在強盜手中。他們剝去他的衣服，把他打得半死，撇下他一個人就走了。正好有一個祭司，從那條路下來，看見他，就從旁邊走過去了。又有一個利未人，來到那裡，看見他，也照樣從旁邊走過去了。只有一個撒瑪利亞人，旅行來到他那裡，看見了，就動了憐憫的心，上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處，包裹好了，把他扶上自己的牲口，帶他到客店裡照顧他。第二天，他拿出兩個銀幣交給店主，說：‘請你照顧他，額外的開支，我回來的時候必還給你。’你想，這三個人，誰是那個落在強盜手中的人的鄰舍呢？”他說：“是那憐憫他的。”耶穌說：“你去，照樣作吧。”

我們堅強的人，應該擔當不堅強的人的軟弱，不應該求自己的喜悅。

所以，你們要把下垂的手和發軟的腿挺直起來；也要把你們所走的道路修直，使瘸子不至於扭腳，反而得到復原。

至於我，我甘心樂意為你們的靈魂付上一切，鞠躬盡瘁。難道我越愛你們，就越得不到你們的愛嗎？

弟兄們，我們勸你們，要警戒游手好閒的人，勉勵灰心喪志的人，扶助軟弱無力的人，也要容忍所有的人。

可是我告訴你們，當愛你們的仇敵，為迫害你們的祈禱，

“如果你遇見你仇敵的牛或是驢走迷了路，就應該把牠牽回來給他。如果你看見恨你的人的驢伏在重擔之下，不可走開不理牠，你應該與驢主一同卸下重擔。
