If you see your fellow Israelite’s donkey or ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help the owner get it to its feet.

Suppose you see your neighbor’s donkey or ox that has fallen down on the road. Then don’t act as if you didn’t see it. Help the owner get it up on its feet again.

You shall not see your brother’s donkey or his ox fallen down by the way and ignore them. You shall help him to lift them up again.

弟兄们，如果有人陷在一些过犯里，你们属灵的人，要用温柔的心使他回转过来，自己却要小心，免得也被引诱。你们各人的重担要互相担当，这样就成全了基督的律法。

那人想证明自己有理，就对耶稣说：“谁是我的邻舍呢？”耶稣回答：“有一个人从耶路撒冷下耶利哥去，落在强盗手中。他们剥去他的衣服，把他打得半死，撇下他一个人就走了。正好有一个祭司，从那条路下来，看见他，就从旁边走过去了。又有一个利未人，来到那里，看见他，也照样从旁边走过去了。只有一个撒玛利亚人，旅行来到他那里，看见了，就动了怜悯的心，上前用油和酒倒在他的伤处，包裹好了，把他扶上自己的牲口，带他到客店里照顾他。第二天，他拿出两个银币交给店主，说：‘请你照顾他，额外的开支，我回来的时候必还给你。’你想，这三个人，谁是那个落在强盗手中的人的邻舍呢？”他说：“是那怜悯他的。”耶稣说：“你去，照样作吧。”

我们坚强的人，应该担当不坚强的人的软弱，不应该求自己的喜悦。

所以，你们要把下垂的手和发软的腿挺直起来；也要把你们所走的道路修直，使瘸子不至于扭脚，反而得到复原。

至于我，我甘心乐意为你们的灵魂付上一切，鞠躬尽瘁。难道我越爱你们，就越得不到你们的爱吗？

弟兄们，我们劝你们，要警戒游手好闲的人，勉励灰心丧志的人，扶助软弱无力的人，也要容忍所有的人。

可是我告诉你们，当爱你们的仇敌，为迫害你们的祈祷，

“如果你遇见你仇敌的牛或是驴走迷了路，就应该把它牵回来给他。如果你看见恨你的人的驴伏在重担之下，不可走开不理它，你应该与驴主一同卸下重担。
