則當以此二人攜至邑門外、以石擊之死、因女雖在邑中不呼號、因男玷辱他人之妻、如是、除惡於爾中、

you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death— the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife. You must purge the evil from among you.

以后你若不喜欢她，就要让她自由离开，绝不可为钱把她卖了，也不可把她当奴隶看待，因为你已经占有过她。”

雅各对拉班说：“日期已经满了，请把我的妻子给我，我好与她同房。”

约瑟醒来，就遵照主的使者的吩咐把妻子娶过来；

那先知或那做梦的人要被处死，因为他出言悖逆那领你们出埃及地、救赎你脱离为奴之家的耶和华—你们的上帝，要引诱你离开耶和华—你上帝吩咐你要行的道。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。

你们还自高自大！你们不是该觉得痛心，把做这事的人从你们中间赶出去吗？

正考虑这些事的时候，忽然主的使者在约瑟梦中向他显现，说：“大卫的子孙约瑟，不要怕，把你的妻子马利亚娶过来，因她所怀的孕是从圣灵来的。
