則當以此二人攜至邑門外、以石擊之死、因女雖在邑中不呼號、因男玷辱他人之妻、如是、除惡於爾中、

you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death— the young woman because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife. You must purge the evil from among you.

至於教外的人，神會審判他們。你們要把那惡人從你們中間趕出去。

就要把那少女帶到她父家的門口，本城的人要用石頭把她打死，因為她在以色列中作了醜事，在她父家行了淫亂；這樣，你就把那惡從你們中間除去。“如果發現有人和有夫之婦同寢，就要把姦夫淫婦二人都處死；這樣，你就把那惡從以色列中除掉了。

如果將來你不喜歡她，就要讓她隨意離去，決不可為了錢把她出賣，也不可以她為奴，因為你已經污辱了她。

雅各對拉班說：“期限到了，請把我的妻子給我，好讓我與她親近。”

約瑟睡醒了，就照著主的使者所吩咐的，把妻子迎娶過來；

至於那先知，或作夢的人，你們要把他處死，因為他說了叛逆的話，叛逆了那領你們出埃及地，救贖你脫離為奴之家的耶和華你們的神，要你離棄耶和華你的神吩咐你走的道路。這樣你就把那惡從你們中間除掉了。

你們還是自高自大！難道你們不該覺得痛心，把作這件事的人從你們中間趕出去嗎？

他一直想著這些事，主的使者就在夢中向他顯現，說：“大衛的子孫約瑟，只管放膽把你的妻子馬利亞迎娶過來，因為她懷的孕是從聖靈來的。
